Your face-downs are not safe! Arcaton Set 13/??

I like Reactive Arcaton but I noticed that you did not put quotes around Arcaton in the effect, and I don't quite understand the effect of Runaway Arcaton. Could you read through that effect again and then tell me what you mean? I get the first part of it but the second part i don't.

The 2nd effect of Runaway means that if you control 1 face-up card behind Runaway, you can Set it to make Runaway gain an effect. Maybe the wording leads to misunderstanding, now that I read it more carefully, it seems im allowing to Set the monster that was destroyed.

Also, changed SpreadShot again, so that you are able to flip your own Set cards too.

I see what I misunderstood and your right it does sound like you set the monster but you made a mistake:

If 1 monster your opponent controls is in the same column as this card, this card gains 400 ATK during the Damage Step only. If you control 1 face-up Spell or Trap card behind this card, when this card destroys 1 monster your opponent controls by battle, you can Set the Spell or Trap Card [s]or pay 500 Life Points[/s] to apply 1 the following effects depending on the Set Card:
*Trap: Destroy this card to inflict 1000 damage to your opponent's Life Points (after Damage Calculation). *Spell: Special Summon 1 Coal Token (Level 3/Rock-type/FIRE/ATK 0/DEF 1000) to your field in Defense Position. If this Token is used as Synchro Material for the Synchro Summon of a FIRE monster, increase that monster's ATK by 500. Cards that were Set by this card's own effect are Flipped face-up at the End Phase.
I think you should get rid of the or pay 500 Life Points effect but that is just me.

Card redone. Also, I would like to ask how would you word this: "If 1 or more Set Spell and/or Trap cards you control had it's effect negated by a card your opponent controls, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. Apply one of the following effects based on the type of card that negated your card:". I never came across a card that did this, so correct OCG wording is kinda strange to get to xD.

I hoped that helped. I am not 100% sure about this because like you I have not seen a card like it before.

Piranha Rate: 7/10
Set Rate: 8.3/10

I like Piranha Arcaton. You kept it pretty simple and that is good(sometimes). In this case it is good. So good work. It may be a little UP'd because it halves the ATK of the equipped monster for that turn which is why it gets a 7 instead of 8

Bump, new stuff in! I also thought of something: shouldn't these Arcaton monsters support themselves with summoning their partners? Example: when one meets a certain condition, he summons 1 partner or adds it to your hand. It's just that I feel this Set does not depict cards that support each other...
