this question just popped into my mind
how does someone become a mod?
im not asking to become one im just curious how they get to their position

You must contribute positively to a section in order to be considered by mods when a 'vacancy' opens up. This can be through helping out newbies, mature posting/discussion and generally be very helpful. Positions come up very rarely, and a topic will be posted in the mod/staff section for each of the mods (usually those that either already mod or are active in a non-mod way in that particular section with the vacancy) to nominate members it will be then discussed between the mods that have posted to agree a member's suitability, through the discussions a member will be chosen and told of their promotion.

You must be chosen be the mods, the super mods, the admins and you WONT be a mod here if you ask to become one....and put random things at the title
