Special Poke-Type Rules
1. Poke-Types have their own kind of summon, an Evolution Summon. An Evolution Summon is performed by placing a Stage 1 or 2 Poke Monster on top of its previous stage.
Example: If you want to Evolution Summon Ivysaur, you would simply place it on top of your Bulbasaur card on the field.
Any Equip Spell Cards or similar cards equipped to the previous stage (Bulbasaur) will remain equipped to the new stage (Ivysaur) as long as the new monster remains appropriate to the conditions of the equipped cards.
2. You can Evolution Summon once per turn, in addition to a Normal Summon. You cannot Evolution Summon a monster on top of a monster you Normal Summoned that turn.
3. I have given Poke Monsters named effects (after the attacks) and each effect has an Energy requirement next to it (very much like on Pokemon Cards). These effects can only be activated (or remain active) if you have the required number of Energy Cards equipped to that Poke Monster. Poke Power effects do not require Energy Cards to be active.
4. You can still Normal Summon a Stage 1 or 2 Pokemon using the usual Yugioh Tribute rule but, of course, any equipped cards on the Tributed cards will be sent to the Graveyard as normal.
I did it because I generally find that the Yugioh rules alone cannot properly facilitate the Pokemon Evolution concept. Every time I've seen people make it, it only ever turns out ok because they rely too much on needing the specific card that comes before it in order to use it. In Yugioh, it would be far too risky and difficult to run a Deck that relies so much on drawing a particular set of cards in a particular order. Regardless, thank you for your comment and opinion. I am sure you are not the only one who will find this slightly wierd. Also, keep in mind the basis of the effects is still very much Yugioh based, so at the least you could tell me what you think on that even if you don't like the idea.
the effects are good. but what you saying is pokemon cards that others have made are hard to summon but these are also hard to get out because you still need certain cards and in yugioh cards get destroyed very easily so you may not even be able to use any effects

I see your point but I've made it as best as I can whilst keeping as faithful as I can to both Yugioh and the Evolution idea in Pokemon. I'm not saying you have to like it. Personally, I feel I've done it as best I can, so I'll keep this set going. Also, I don't think they are as hard to use as you might think. Perhaps you don't quite understand how they work or perhaps I have not expressed myself as clearly as I could have in my opening explanation.

I do think its a good idea and i get how it works but i think the energy cards went a bit too far and you need too many 4 1 effect

Fair enough. I may do some testing later on to see how well it works in reality. I've seen your set as well and, to be honest, you and I clearly have very different aims with our sets, so it's only natural they would be so different.

"Poke-oh!"? Okay, sure.
The card effects w/moves seem odd, but it's nothing concerning me...

I can understand that. I did draw quite a lot from Pokemon and I guess its wierdness might depend on how familiar you are with it but if you can't do something like this in the Pop Culture Section, where can you do it? Thank you for the comment and the rating, by the way.

It's fine for me also. Sorry, I don't really know what I can do about that. I have some problems seeing other people's cards when I visit their threads sometimes. I don't have the faintest idea why, though. Sorry.

Well, can't say they aren't unoriginal. I can see your point on the evolution thing, but i think that Dhole did a set where he really captured the evolution fell in a yugioh card. The only thing that irks me is metapod's defense. 2400, really? Overall, i guess for what their purpose was, pretty good job. I would put lore on because it's hard to read the effects on some.

Holy crap! Am I seriously the only one who finds this set ORIGINAL?! In my opinion, these are awesome! Sure he may be using concepts of another card game but still, these cards are fresh and neat-looking. Creative no doubt. It's nice to see that he didn't use the usual concepts of Evolution Counters or "During the <insert Phase here> of a turn that this card destroyed a monster by battle, you can blah-blah this card to Special Summon 1 <insert Pokemon here> from your hand or Deck." And I love how you named the individual effects, gave them energy costs and included the pre-evolution of the Pokemon. +REP for you ;)

PS I also can't seem to access your spoilers.

Thank you all for your comments. I am glad some of you like what I've done here.
@yamibakura: Personally, I'm happy with my pokemon pictures but, to be honest, if you think those are bad wait until you see my trainer cards; they're horrendous.

@thegreatmightypoo: I agree with you on much of that. Dhole's pokemon set, as I know it, is fantastic. Although, more the reason to do something different. Thank you for the comment on the lore, I'll get to that as soon as I can. Also, about Metapod, I do intend to do some testing on them all once I complete my set but if you have any further comments in the mean time I'd be more than happy to hear you out.

@seansocheap: Thank you very much for your comment! :) I am very glad that you like them. Also, I really don't know what is up with the spoilers as you're the second person to message me with that problem. In that case I may have to scratch them all together. I am guessing you can see the images at the top? If so, it probably isn't a problem with my host. I'll look into it but if I can't find anything I'll just scratch the spoiler idea. Do you find this problem on other topics or just mine?

Added Bulbasaur and Charmander Evolution lines now. Also added Energy Cards. I've brought spoilers back because it makes it much easier for me to sort it out that way. If anyone is still having problems, there's not much else I'm going to be willing to do except possibly put up a preview section where you'll be able to view the odd card that I put there from time to time.
