Um, no you don't. Look at Naturia Exterio for a new card that doesn't have that.

Kinda bland effect, but it isn't OP'd at all.

Use a dragon/spellcaster theme, add future fusion and BAM! he will be out in no time. This card is great, I'd love to have it in my deck, although I don't know why you would want to use it's token sacrifie effect... 300 damage is miniscule. The reason why I would summon those tokens is for tributing.
Overall great card, with an awesome picture.

Did I miss a meeting? Since when is that a [i]must[/i] to do thing? Oh wait, because it never actually was. Look up cards like [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Reaper_on_the_Nightmare"]Reaper on the Nightmare[/url], [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Alligator's_Sword_Dragon"]Alligator's Sword Dragon[/url] etc.

And maybe you should know that changing the effect is kinda frowned upon, like you adding the Standby Phase clause to the card.
