Effect: This card cannot be destroyed by your opponent's card effect. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, your opponent selects and sends 1 card from their hand to the Graveyard, and you draw 1 card.

D Skull Master
Name and Creativity: 8/10
Picture: 6/10
OTK: (not rated) 4/10
Effect ATK DEF balance: 2/20
TOTAL: 2/5 **
Would be Forbidden.

Reasons: It's a 4000 ATK point monster who can truck through most monsters and not be affected by most traps and spells. Countering this beast is easier said than done. Overpowered. It dosen't take the Illegal crown but it does take the banned crown.

Dude, he's got one post. The card has great OCG and a smart effect. If you show me the first card you ever made and can truly give it a 5/5 using your own system, then I'll be impressed.

This would not be banned. Too hard to summon to abuse it's effects to the point that the game would suffer, resulting in a need to punish it.

If it would be banned, Red Nova Dragon would be, first. Easier to summon, same destruction immunity, and a far more useful effect. And can get even stronger.

Think a little, people. I swear, when a strong monster pops up here, there are some YCMers who hide under mommy's dress and throw spoonsfulls of OVERPOWERED at what they see.

It isn't the idea but the way it's worded. The way this card reads, it basically means "Your opponent discards their hand, and you draw that many cards. When your opponent draws cards, they discard them, then you draw that many cards." Which regardless of summon requirements is a retardedly unbreakable lockdown and draw engine, especially when it's attached to a 4000+ beatstick with serious effect protection.

Complete lockdown is what got Yata banned, and I think this would be, too. Especially because I'm not hearing a "No Versago" clause...

So to sum everything up your effect needs to be worded like this.

This card cannot be destroyed by your opponent's card effect. Once per turn, you can have your opponent discard 1 card of their choice. Then you draw 1 card.

Even if the summoning conditions are very hard to meet, I'd put some sort of cost in the effect, like you having to discard a card as well, giving you a +1 rather then giving you a +1 and your opponent -1. Still, with this wording I don't this this is stupidly OP'd.

I am looking at konami's styles. Oh and, the one thing is IF you get this on the field, it becomes crazy.

"Konami's styles" are nothing more than your own perception, which is faulty at best.

"IF you get this on the field" is a pretty huge "if" in itself. That is a huge factor in determining if a card is playable or unplayable.

You don't play this game well, do you? What do you run, Hopeless Dragons? GKs built from 3 Marik SDs? Swallow some of that Brooklyn Rage, fanboy. Then come back and act like you know what you're talking about again.

It's very strange how Konami acts. They ban Premature burial but limit Reborn? And no...my deck is based off Ancient Gears and another is Mixed.

Of course it's strange. To YOU. But if you understood anything about how Konami's banlists work to halp the game, or why they were so dynamic, You'd understand things better. Hell, even being better at the game would make this single point obvious to you. Pushing power against power somehow creates balance. As it stands, Monster Reborn is an ok card. As opposed to this equip card called Premature Burial, which has loads of support to recycle and abuse it. See, if you were able to rationalize this, as a pro player, you wouldn't make such fallacious logical conclusions, I wouldn't be laughing at you, and you'd step out of the Ancient Gear crib. And "mixed"? Is that some lingo kids use to avoid having to say "jank"?

But I'm rambling, and I apologize to the OP. His card is lovely and wouldn't even be touched by any banlist, except one made up by some brat who fears cards that can leap around his common Mirror Force and can attack over his precious BEWD. No, it doesn't matter AT ALL how hard it is to play. No one factors that.
