Putting at one would make it more inconsistant and take away annoying OTK possibilities. Plus fattening your grave seems to be an extra bonus with it. Nor is the dreaded "2 card" OTK referenced above. Maybe, just maybe, these OTKs actually suck and should not impact our decision? Sure seems like it to me. Forgive me if I don't see eye to eye with you on the intolerable menace of lonefire blossom OTK (which has never been shown effective in any way on any level).
