Magic Jammer is a terrible card, and as it requires a discard cost it isn't free either.

Note how I said it's a [i]free[/i] version of Magic Jammer (for the turn it's activated anyway).

Not only is a Magic Jammer (in that it negates a Spell), it also applies to all Spells already active, and keeps either player from activating new Spells for the turn. With no setup at all (like Horus has). It is vulnerable to monster effects, a Quick Play spell chained to its activation, or Traps, but that doesn't make it less broken. Crippling spells is a powerful strategy.

it's like spells are getting better than traps in the land of yugimonz, it should stay banned imo
