You guys are all whiners.

No, this is not another attack on the citizens of YCM, but on people in real life.

So halfway through my day we get out early because of a fire/bomb threat/whatever. We load up on the buses (where we sat for a couple minutes) to go home and people have the audacity to complain that we've been here forever; that we should be leaving. I mean they're whining their faces off, just because they're stuck on a bus for a couple minutes. Come on, it's a bomb threat, there's going to be complications; they're not going to let us leave until everything's figured out. And why are you complaining when you're getting out of class and homework?

Plus lately people have just gotten bitchier. AMIRITE?

tl;dr, people gotta learn some goddamn patience, 'cause it's pissin me off.

I love this, more than you could possibly know. People aren't patient anymore. Even I have been a lot less patient lately because everything has to be done now or it is worthless. Nobody wants to take their time on something, because if it can't be done now it is worthless. As for bomb threats, it was the same for me. Everyone complained constantly (I complained a couple of times, I will admit this freely) and it just made an annoying but helpless situation all the worse.

Yes, people have been getting bitchier lately.

Everyone needs to learn patience.

I agree, especially with the people getting bitchier part. This used to include me, I used to b**** about this girl called Saskia all the time because she rejected me sometime after we had started flirting. It was an extremely immature thing to do and the consequences have lead to me having one less friend, at least I have learnt from my mistake and now I can't stand people who b****. But now I just see people at my school b**** and gossip about one another.

I even had to tell my best mates to lay off a bit when we saw two of our (not so close) mates making out behind a shed. They were going full on gossip mode, I had to stop them. .-.

A bomb threat? Cool, even if it's not really suspected.

I can wait. The attitude of people these days get so aggravating, but they just can't keep it in themselves. At least I'm a little more mature. People these days now are always in a rush and their attitude against people is a problem.

Yes people are always in a rush, they should get back to activites like glass-painting or embroidery. Such things focus the mind and you don't feel like you have to GET SOMETHING RIGHT NAO~.

A lot of us can't enjoy things anymore and don't even realize how much luck and convenience we have. I don't think we should throw the cell phones out and not take the car anymore, but it's not something we were supposed to have. I wonder more or less daily about the things my cell phone can do and how we managed to send pixels in the form of e-mails without a postman.=/ Or IDK, look around and realize how the bridge has been standing for so long even though tons of cars drive over it daily.

But yes it's also a problem of wanting to get stuff, for real and fast please. The environment is flushed down? Anyway let's go to teh moon!!!, the satellite pictures won't do it. Photoshop lets people do everything, merge a penguin and a gorilla to a Pokémon species. But no the pictures aren't enough, we need the real thing, aka cloning. I look a lot at Youtube videos of people making Photoshop-hybrids but then I cringe when I see someone doing it for real.

Nothing to do with the topic but sometimes we can't get everything and have to do with pictures, y' know.=/

Seems to me like crowding all of the people in one area is the exact opposite of what you should do when there's a bomb threat. But maybe that's just me.

I can be impatient sometimes, but usually I'm the one who is politely waiting for others without even saying a word. A lot of times, people wont even realize that I'm waiting. Apparently this is too polite and I get yelled at for not saying anything to them.

Unfortunately Catman's most-recent post in this thread covered what I was going to say in this thread, so now I actually have to post something legitimate.

More often than not impatience is expedited when one has absolutely nothing to do. On something like a bus ride from a bomb threat where you presumably cannot talk, people are more likely to complain than not. However, if you are awaiting for the arrival of a new game, and you are surrounded by twenty others that you can play, chances are you'd care less about when that game arrives and moreso about if it will arrive at all.

Well I'm impatient by nature, I hate sitting in waiting rooms staring at people and getting stared at, especially being in a room full of ill people waiting for the doctor.-_-
But I can enjoy things, I guess.

People around here were really friendly until the past year or so. Almost too friendly... But within the last year or so, everyone in the community but myself seems to have become uber bitchy. I feel like slapping someone and saying "STFU Bish!"

Agreed.=/

Today was our indoor sports pep rally. After, the whole hallway was crowded, and people kept getting in the way. I couldn't tolerate most people pushing on me and others. I don't like to talk back, but in my mind, I think, "WTF if your f****n problem b***h? I have places to go too you know?"

Not to be critical, but aren't you basically posting a thread whining impatiently because you're pissed at impatient whiners?

Or is that just me?

More or less, except the fact he is moaning about people who do it all the time, I know Catman, he is not one of those people.

That was already established about 10 posts ago. But yeah, I didn't say I was exempt from the whining, I'm just saying I noticed a general trend. And the fact that I'm complaining about this (though the tone may seem hypocritical, but that's not the intent), should probably say that I'm not the one to whine. This is something that has been bothering me, so I wouldn't classify it as whining per se, according to the context in which I am using it in.

@Floyd, thanks for having my back yo. ;D
