Kyakan
Hello, these are just a bunch of random cards I made Rate if you want, give suggestions on how I can make these more balanced, seeing as I'm not that good at limiting my cards power :\ If you notice any problems with my cards then feel free to point them out, the more constructive criticism I get the better I can be Monster Cards:
Monster, Light Attribute, Level 7. Spellcaster/Effect 2200 ATK/2000 DEF This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by paying 2000 Life Points. Once per turn, if this card would be destroyed by another card's effect, it is not. Once per turn, you can Discard 1 card from your hand and pay 1000 Life Points to select one monster on the field. The control of the selected monster is switched until the End Phase. During battle between this attacking card and a Defense Position monster whose DEF is lower than the ATK of this card, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent. This card cannot attack your Opponent's Life Points directly. During your Standby Phase, pay 800 Life Points. If you do not, this card is Removed from Play.

Monster, Light Attribute, Level 4. Spellcaster/Effect 1500 ATK/1600 DEF This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by paying 800 Life Points. Once per turn, if this card would be destroyed by another card's effect, it is not. Once per turn, you can discard 1 'Silence' monster from your hand to the Graveyard to Draw 1 card from your Deck. During your Standby Phase, Pay 500 Life Points. If you do not, this card is Removed from Play.

Monster, Light Attribute, Level 4. Spellcaster/Effect 0 ATK/2000 DEF When this card is Normal Summoned or Special Summoned, it is changed to defense position. Once per turn, increase your lifepoints by the number of your cards Removed from Play x 200.

Monster, Light Attribute, Level 3. Warrior/Effect 0 ATK/0 DEF This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by paying 800 Life Points when a 'Silence' monster (other than 'Servant of Silence') is Special Summoned. This card cannot be destroyed by battle. Increase the ATK of all 'Silence' monsters on your side of the field by 200 x the number of monsters your Opponent controls. If this card is used for a Synchro Summon, and that monster is successfully Synchro Summoned, Draw 2 cards from your Deck. During you Standby Phase, Pay 600 Life Points. If you do not, this card is Removed from Play.

Monster, Light Attribute, Level 4. Warrior/Effect 1800 ATK/1600 DEF This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. ATK/0 DEF 1 'Silence' Tuner + 1 or more Non-Tuner monsters. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Synchro Summon. If this card attacks an opponent's monster, the ATK of this card becomes twice the ATK of the attack target, during Damage Calculation only. If you do not, this card is Removed from Play.
Spell Cards:
Spell Card, Continuous. Kyakan
No seriously, why is the Written Cards section always so empty Link to comment
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Archmage - A bit too many effects going on here for one card. It really seems like OTK food to me. Magician - Again, a bit much going on here... The two cards together seem to be leading toward OTKs, but other than their abusive properties they're balanced. Also, isn't there already a Silent Magician? Priest - This one seems balanced enough, though hard to actually set off its effect without putting yourself at risk. Servant - This one is definitely overpowered, and again, has too many effects for its own good. Being able to be SS'd for just 500 LPs, then getting to draw 2 cards... and also increasing the ATK of the others. Just wow. Swordsman - Already a Silent Swordsman. Same thing as the other ones... Too overpowered and set more for OTKs than anything. Lord - Well, if he wasn't so difficult to bring out I would say he's overpowered, but with 0 ATK and being level 11, I think it's fine. Mastery - Again... OTK. And the card pays for itself very quickly in this type of deck. Words - Effect is way too long. You should simplify it. Overall, they're overpowered, but I like the idea of the Archetype. And yeah, it usually takes a long time to get a response in the Written section, but I try to respond to people's topics when I can. Link to comment
Kyakan
Thanks for the reply And to respond to your actual post and not the fact that it's a post, I did kinda come up with the concept of it being a rapid beatdown, and basically the Priest is just there so that "Words of Silence" doesn't kill you instantly, and so that your Removed from Play monsters don't go to waste. And basically "Words of Silence" lets you do the whole Seal of Orichalcos thing with the Spell&Trap card zones + Having the Graveyard auto-remove from play everything, so that you can perform some epic maneuvers there, for the cost of 3000 Life Points a turn. Oh, and to the fact that there's already a 'Silent Swordsman', I basically just changed the wording so that I didn't have to go off on a random combination of words like 'The Silent person who wields a sword!' Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Well, it certainly is like a beatdown, but they look built to OTK more than anything. Just slam down a couple of free beatsticks, steal your opponent's monsters, and you wont have to worry much about monster removal. Link to comment
Kyakan
Well, thanks for the replies anyways, in retrospect, it does seem a lot like that Archmage would work like that. Not really what I was thinking about when I designed him, but I'm guessing that's not what many cards used in OTKs were thought of to do either And also, I was thinking of the Lord of Silence being something like a suped-up Clear Vice that you have to pay Life Points for, which would be kinda OP'd if it was easier to summon, but level 11 Synchros don't come cheap. Manjoume Thunder
Monster, Divine Attribute, Level 7. An almost free to special summon 2500 body that turns your cards in Brain Controls and has piercing. Not broken in the slightest.
Monster, Divine Attribute, Level 4. Spellcaster/Effect 1800 ATK/1600 DEF This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by paying 800 Life Points. This card cannot be destroyed by another card's effect. Once per turn, you can pay 1000 Life Points to Draw 1 card from your Deck. During your Standby Phase, Pay 400 Life Points. If you do not, this card is Removed from Play.
Sweet. Another easy to summon big body that nets pluses.
Monster, Divine Attribute, Level 4. Warrior/Effect 2000 ATK/1600 DEF This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by paying 1200 Life Points. This card cannot be destroyed by battle. If this card destroys a monster by battle, Draw 1 card from your Deck. During your Standby Phase, pay 700 Life Points. If you do not, this card is Removed from Play.
And another one. These cards are perfectly balanced. So balanced that I am not going to bother reading the others. Advice: Try playing yugioh. Link to comment

CommanderVolt
The different lifepoint cost at Stand-By Phase is really akward. Even if your trying to make the payment heavy to try and balance it out, it's still, really awkward. The whole "Cannot be destroyed by another card's effect" is a little over the top. I do not believe it is necessary for a Level 4 Monster to have such a powerful effect imo. Deck would be crushing with Megamorph. The cards could use some tinkering. but that's just my opinion. Kyakan
Thanks for your opinion! Maybe I'll limit the effects to something like Gyroid's, except with effects and not attacks. Link to comment
CommanderVolt
Alright, i should be straight with you. Imho the cards are OP'd. Im gonna compare and break them down in a way i think might make it balance, just my opinion though. First off, each of the DIVINE monsters are immune to other destruction effects. the Released DIVINE monsters, the 3 Egyptian Gods, shared the ability to not be Targeted by Monsters, Spells or Trap cards. And their summons could not be stopped. Archmage of Silence, the 2500 Attack beater which can be summoned at the cost of a meer 2000 lifepoints, immune to destruction effects. I compare this to Savior Daemon's Dragon, who had the same power of immune to destruction effects. Summoning it can be very difficult, in which the payment for the no destruction is balanced. Where as this, all you do is pay a measly 2000 Lifepoints and this guy hits the field. The cost is barely a threat, 2000 lifepoints can be recovered rather quickly. At the cost of 1 card from your hand and 1000 Lifepoints, the control of one monster on the field is changed. It's interesting how you can give control of your own monsters, but in any case this is far too powerful for how easy it is to summon this monster. Clearly OP'd, the lifepoint cost is very easy to shake off. If i had made this card. Give it a new summoning condition, a challenging one which cannot be easily pulled off. Make it so that the invesment into the card is worth it when the card finnaly hits the field. Because it is part of your Silence Archetype, i cannot come up with a summoning plot for you. Magician of Silence, A quick easy-to summon free monster, 1800 attack and once per turn can dodge monster destruction cards. Pay 1000 Lifepoints to draw 1 card? How about, Once per turn by discarding 1 "Silence" monster to draw 1 card. or something like that. The Lifepoint cost at the stand-by phase is fine. Maybe just make it a Normal-Summonable Monster, i dont know. Being able to SS it makes it some-what Op'd along with the destruction negation. I can't think of any other ways to tone it down except change the LP cost with a Discard 1 Silence monster. Priest of Silence. "When this card is Normal Summoned or Special Summoned, it is changed to defense position. Once per turn, increase your lifepoints by the number of your cards Removed from Play by 200." This makes it seem more viable. The Cost during the stand-by phase is not-needed. This seems like a good fix. Servent of Silence. It looks fine, maybe change the Special Summoning claus to something like. "You can Special Summon this card from your hand when you succesfully summon a "SIlence" monster (Except for Servent of Silence) Imo, the lifepoint cost is not needed. It's okay, other then the SS bit. Swordsmen of Silence. Being completely immune to battle is a bit OP'd for an easy to summon monster. Little payment to get him out with a great effect. Try and make the lifepoint cost on par with Archmage of Silence or Magician, the diffirent random costs look odd. Ill leave it at this for now. This is just me making my critques and stating my opinions. Link to comment
