Zeppeli Gyro Supreme Posted December 6, 2010 Report Share Posted December 6, 2010 First off, I would like to say thank you for posting, but I'm also sorry to inform you that people don't usually read large posts like this in the Written Cards section. If you do make them, though, it's suggested that you put the Monsters in a spoilers, as well as the Spells and Traps in their own spoilers too. Anyways, onto my review of the cards. Dark Angel Alimara - 6 or 0 cards... in their hand? Seems like it could be overpowered. Especially when used in tandem with Infernities. Also, a tip for Written cards: Say "Inflict piercing damage" instead of "When the ATK of this attacking monster is higher than the DEF...". Almost everyone will know what you're talking about, and it saves you a lot of time and space. Dark Angel Axe - "Every card in your hand" would be the proper terminology, as it's implied that its effect applies to its owner. Could perhaps be overpowered, but I'm not sure. Also, increases in ATK are implied to be "permanent". Dark Angel Saber - Pretty much the same as before. Dark Angel Spear - Much weaker than the others in terms of effect and ATK, so I'm not sure it would really see that much use if it were real. Dark Angel Calestria - Interesting effect. Rewards you for not overextending your hand, which is always a good thing. Dark Angel Kettel - Strange. Seems like it might be difficult to use it, seeing as you have to have a specific number of cards in your hand. Dark Angel Lilith - Seems like it shouldn't be a Tuner, since it's good monster on its own. Dark Angel Sakuro - Same as above, except this seems like it could be more powerful. Maybe a bit too powerful. Dark Angel Umbriel - Usually Tuners that can't be destroyed by battle have a downside effect to them, or have to be face-up to use the effect. Dark Angel Dragoon - Implied it has to be face-up. In my opinion, too strong of an effect for its stats. Dark Angel Flair - I can see this being used with Infernities, or even a deck of its own for OTKs... Dark Angel Ganrisel - Seems balanced and like a good card. Dark Angel Gekin - OCG is strange. Might be better as "This monster can declare a number of attacks during your Battle Phase up to the number of cards in your hand. This card can only declare 1 direct attack each turn." Dark Angel Lemek - Sort of like a powered up Enraged Muka Muka who's not searchable. Dark Angel Zero - I see heavy abuse potential, since drawing during the Draw Phase is also "adding cards to your hand". Extra Deck Dark Angel Aster - Not much to say here. Dark Angel Chaos - "a DARK Fiend-Type monster" would make more sense. Too powerful, especially seeing as it's a level 4 mostly-generic. Dark Angel Telemet - An alright card. Dark Angel Xenmus - I think you worded it wrong, since as-is this means that it just stops the activation. I would say to negate the card's effect until the End Phase, and only be able to activate it once per turn. Overall, it's a cool idea, though some of the cards you made have high potential for being overpowered. Link to comment

They're not all that hard to get, considering this. Plus, you could dedicate an entire deck around trying to get out level 4's and others around that level. Link to comment
Barian Warlord Posted December 6, 2010 Author Report Share Posted December 6, 2010 hmm, I can see your point I'll try changing it,I might change it so its the combined level of the summoned cards is the number of cards in your hand and it gains attack by the number summoned.And Xenmus locks up the opponents Spell and Trap card zones, I looked into that effect and that's how the wording works. I don't think negation can stand on its own without being "...until...." or "...and...". If a card is never activated then it was treated as never having been played. Link to comment
