The Crimson King
I tried something like that too. And I got bored of it and switched to this build.
.Nu-13
It's not how you play Rock Koa'kis, wait, Rockstun. First of all, neg the following: -3 Koa'ki Meiru Prototype It doesn't have place in competitve Koa'ki Meiru deck. It can be nice in casual build, but not here -3 Koa'ki Meiru Boulder As Prototype, can be good, but in casual build. For competitve deck, it's just too slow and too easy to play around. -3 Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru It's terrible here. You don't need it. You should have enough Rocks to reveal for keeping Koa'kis on the field. -3 Solidarity Koa'ki have high ATK on their own, they don't need boost. Solidarity just takes you space in deck and leads to dead draws -2 Core Transport Unit If you don't need Core, you don't need this too. -2 Core Compression As above -2 Urgent Synthesis As above -1 My Body as a Shield It's just a presonal prefference. In Rockstun, you don't need it that badly, but it can come in handy -1 Pot of Avarice You don't have to recycle monsters here -2 Reckoned Power See Core Transport Unit Ok, so we dropped 22 cards... wow, a lot. Now, add the following: +1 Gigantes It's a very good card here. Free beatstick that can clear the backrow if needed. It also removes the use Koa'kis, so that you can later recover them with Release from Stone. +3 Thunder King Rai-Oh Before you say - yes, it's not a Rock, nor a Koa'ki, but it's an awesome card here. Doesn't let your opponent use cards like Black Whirlwind or Infernity Archfiend, and can be use to negate the summon of opponent's trump card +1 Legendary Jujitsu Master Will give you another card for reveal for Koa'kis, but is also good this Meta. Works nice againt Gladiator Beasts and other swarm decks. +1 Morphing Jar Obviously a Rock and gives the deck more speed and can ruin your opponent's good hands. +1 Neo-Spacian Grand Mole Type is obviouse. It's nice troll card, especially if you use it on a Synchro or Fusion. +3 Pot of Duality Awesome, awesome card. As this deck doesn't Special Summon much, it doesn't slow you down. Speeds the deck up a lot and allows to get out of tight situations. +3 Upstart Goblin Opponent gaining 1000 LP may seem bad, but it's not. The card itself thins the deck. +3 Release from Stone Abuse with Gigantes. Remove a Koa'ki, recover it with this. Pretty nice card. +2 Solemn Warning Versalite and good card. It can negate summon of any monster, which can ruin your opponent's play. +1 Solemn Judgment I'm surprised that you don't play it. It's practically a staple. +2 Phoenix Wing Wind Blast/Raigeki Break Both of them are nice, but I can't decide which is better. Do as you want. +1 Mirror Force As with Solemn, it's a staple. Wow, lot of text My first in-depth explanation ever TBH

.Nu-13
That's not the main purpose of Iron Core here. It's meant to be used with Compression(draw power) and Reckoned Power(kinda like Delta Crow). The use you stated is secondary Upstart Goblin is better, It doesn't need terrible card to use it effectively. Also, Core can create dead draws. And Reckoned Power... you don't need such card in Rockstun. I personally like Solidarity because it can force the opponent to play on the defensive if played right. Also, it's good for doing tons of damage. But it's vulnerable to Spell/Trap removal, and there are plenty of it now. Also, hitting big isn't the point of Rockstun. Good way to search core, for reasons stated. Bad card, for reasons stated Reason stated Mine too Good form of filed advantage, although I can cut it down to 1. Drop it completly. I agree, but it just seemed like a lot of decks rely on their destruction effects to win. Cut down to 1. Wall/Sandman/Guardian take card of such cards. Reason stated with Iron Core Reason stated on your reason on Iron Core I like him and all, but I also like my Solidarities and can't get my hands on a playset. It's a consideration for later. Ah, you can't get it. Ok, I understand. But honestly, it's quite easy to get. Especially after reprint. Hypothetically yes, but limited resources say no. I felt that you can't afford it. Oh well, not many people are able to spend $80 on 1 card. Was thinking the same. But I'dd need more rfp stuff to work with this. Techically, no. Gigantes in enough. Again, due to limited resources it's a no. Understood

I'm trying to create a self sufficient Koa'ki deck that can win on it's own, proving that Koa'kis don't completely suck as their own archetype. Or something like that.
