"of the Apocalypse" Archetype

these are the cards i have so far if additions can be made
I didn't include the rarity because i figured out that i hadn't after i posted the 12th card and was not about to go back and do it over.
I also included my own comments about the cards as to let the readers know how i feel about my creations

1.Armageddon
Field Spell
Every monster on the feild that has "of the Apocalypse" in its name gains 400 ATK and DEF points. All other monsters lose 200 ATK and DEF points. This card can only be destroyed by the user or a magic/trap card or monster's effect that destroys magic cards, not another field magic card.

Could cause a slippery slope, but its not that big of a difference...

2. Beasts of the Apocalypse
Dark 6 Stars
Beast / Tuner
This monster may attack your opponents life points directly. If this is done then you cannot conduct you battle phase.
ATK: 2400 DEF: 1300

probably the most powerful tuner, lol

3. Champion of the Apocalypse
Dark 6 Stars
Warrior / Effect
For every monster with "of the Apocalypse" in its name in your graveyard, this monster gains 100X the number of stars ATK points.
ATK: XX00 DEF: 550

Most of my monsters rely on eachother AFTER they are dead

4. Chaos of the Apocalypse
Spell
For every moster with the phrase "of the Apocalypse" in attack mode on your side of the feild, your opponent looses 500 lifepoints.

Just an idea i had, could be unfair....

5. Climax of the Apocalypse
Spell
Discard your entire hand and 5 cards from the top of your deck into the graveyard. You may special summon up to two monsters with the phrase "of the Apocalypse" in its name from the graveyard to the field. If you do not have 5 cards in your deck, you may discard this card straight from your hand to the graveyard and draw another card. You may not special summon a monster discarded in this way

Get big monsters for a big price.

6. Dark Dragon of the Apocalypse
Dark 6 Stars
Dragon
The dragon of the darkness that forced the beginning of the apocalypse. Only he knows how it shall end.
ATK: 2200 DEF 1300

Most of the monsters i made have too many stars, so other monsters unrelated to this archetype would have to be added to this deck.

7. Demons of the Apocalypse
Dark 4 Stars
Fiend
The dark army of the Apocalypse attacks the weak and ravages the lands.
ATK: 1600 DEF: 1500

I think the only monster with 4 or less stars i created in this archetype...

8. Earth Dragon of the Apocalypse
Earth 6 Stars
Dragon
The dragon of the earth that forced the beginning of the apocalypse. Only he knows how it shall begin.
ATK: 1500 DEF: 2600

Solid defense... not much else to say

9. Innocents of the Apocalypse
Earth 3 Stars
Warrior / Tuner
This monster cannot be destroyed in battle.
ATK: 1500 DEF: 150

Ehh, acceptable for any deck really. the only other 4 or less monster i made in this archetype.

10. King of the Apocalypse
Dark 12 Stars
Fiend / Ritual / Effect
To summon this monster, you must use the card "The Coming of the King". This monster may not be destroyed by magic or trap cards. You may sacrifice this monster in order to shuffle your graveyard and cards removed from play into your deck.
ATK: ???? DEF: ????

i didn't know if i had to add the effect of the card "the coming of the king" to explain his atk and def points or not so i didn't, so you have to read that other card first obviously.

11. Light Dragon of the Apocalypse
Light 6 stars
Dragon
The dragon of light that forced the beginning of the apocalypse. Only he knows what shall happen.
ATK: 2150 DEF: 1900

Just a basic monster

12. Spirit of the Apocalypse
Dark 5 stars
Spirit / Effect
For every monster of the Apocalypse in your graveyard, this monster gains 100X the number of stars DEF points.
ATK: 200 DEF: XX00

Another Defense builder monster. ya gotta have those in a deck too ya know... although if one has 3 of each monster of this archetype in this deck it may become too high to handle..........

13. Survivor of the Apocalypse
Dark 12 Stars
Fiend / Synchro / Effect
2 Tuners * 1 or more non-Tuners
This monster is not affected by magic, trap, and monster's effects. For every magic card in your graveyard, this monster gains 300 DEF points. For every trap card in your graveyard, this monster gains 500 ATK. For every monster card in your graveyard, it gains 100X the number of stars to ATK and DEF points. This effect does not continue after this monster is summoned.
ATK: XX00 DEF: XX00

May be too powerful so this would straight-up be a limited card in any deck, along with the King of the Apocalypse.

14. The Coming of the King
Ritual Spell Card
This card is used to summon "King of the Apocalypse". You must sacrifice 3 or more monsters with the phrase "of the apocalypse" in its name. The total ATK and DEF points of the monsters sacrificed will equal the ATK and DEF points of the monster being summoned.

obviously used to summon king of the Apocalypse. depending on monsters sacrificed, could become lame-duck battle

15. The Great Dragon of the Apocalypse
Dark 12 Stars
Dragon / Fusion / Effect
Earth Dragon of the Apocalypse * Dark Dragon of the Apocalypse * Light Dragon of the Apocalypse *
Once this card is summoned, remove the three dragons of the Apocalypse from play. It is not affected by any trap, spell, or monster's effects. This monster may be sacrificed to bring back up to 3 cards with the phrase "of the Apocalypse" in their name from the graveyard, to the hand. If it is sacrificed in this way you may bring it back from out of play when the three monsters are destroyed. If this monster is destroyed, it is removed from play or sacrifice 5 monsters from your hand or field to keep this monster on the feild. If it is removed from play during the battle phase, you may special summon as many monsters from your hand with "of the Apocalypse" in its name to the field.
ATK: 4500 DEF: 2300

Obviously going to be another limited card. may even be too good for the monsters sacrificed for it... ah well, this was meant to be a powerful archetype... but once again, you must pay alot to put these monsters on the field.

These are all my cards, critique, enjoy, and most importantly, i need an artist to come up with pictures for these cards
To any admins that know the game alot better than i do (and i do know for a fact that they do) please let me know if any of these cards would be too good for the game so i may edit them to be... less good?

Nobody here likes looking at imageless cards, or even images in general. You did it right the first time.

Then, I would suggest right off the bat to make your writing less clunky by doing this:

change "monsters with (the phrase)' of the Apocalypse' (in their name_"
to "of the Apocalypse monsters"

That's how it's done officially.

So, let's get cracking on the cards themselves.

[b]That goes to Emissary of Pandemonium, actually (at least in terms of sheer ATK). I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume that you mean you cannot conduct your NEXT Battle Phase. In that case, you should make a note of it.[/b]

For every monster with "of the Apocalypse" in its name in your graveyard, this monster gains 100X the number of stars ATK points.
ATK: XX00 DEF: 550

[b]I dislike a 1500 non-destroyable beater, especially when it's a tuner. You might want to do something about that.[/b]

10. King of the Apocalypse

[b]...HOOOOOOOOMYGODBANNABLE. It can either be a colossal beater or Fiber Jar. No. Maybe add a certain amount of cards from your Graveyard to Deck, having it work like Avarice, but not this. This is too far.[/b]

[b]This still isn't runnable in the Apocalypse deck. Before you say anything, see my comments on the Fusion.[/b]

[b]Not necessarily. Many top decks are all about aggro with monsters, leaving Spells and Traps to handle the protection aspect. Defender monsters are largely unnecessary (with some very choice examples).[/b]

[b]So, let me get this straight. You mean to say it gets 100 DEF for each Spell Card, 500 ATK for each Trap, and then 100 ATK AND DEF equal to the combined total of Monster Levels in your Graveyard? PLUS it's immune to card effects?!
Lightsworns. That is all.
A side note: Unaffected by card effects includes its own effect. You should change its effect to match that.[/b]

Final thoughts.

* OP cards need to be less so. Eliminating their immunity to card effects (or at least all of them) is a start.
* The Dragons really use their own Decktypes (they'd be interesting in some sort of odd Chaos variant) and so either need to be better incorporated into the Archetype or made to work better together.
*Some OCG fixes are necessary, see my topic at the top of the page (right below the article on card design, which you and everyone else should read. Multiple times.)

i edited them myself and i am getting a friend to help me edit them
I made the dragons as ordinary cards that could really be used in any deck but specific to this archetype due to the great dragon, which i made it specific that it could only be summoned using polymerization and the dragons of the apocalypse, and made it less ban-able. which is the same thing i did with the king of the apocalypse, i limited it to 10 cards and its ATK and DEF points have been changed to being the level of the monsters sacrificed X100, so really a max of 3600 + if armageddon is on the field 4000. I switched the ATK and DEF points of Innocents of the Apocalypse as well. Also, about the survivor, i just made it stick with magic and trap cards for support of its own stats
