Umbra
That's right, I'm expanding Warrior Lady of the Wasteland, of all things. I'm also using the Exceed Summon mechanic, introduced in the upcoming manga series Yu-Gi-Oh! ZeXal. (And yes, the X is silent.)
Champion of the Wasteland EARTH Warrior / Excess 6 / 2400 / 2000 This card gains 1 of the following effects, depending on the number of monsters Overlaid on this card: • 2: Any Battle Damage you take from battles involving this card is also inflicted to your opponent. Once per turn, during either player's turn, you can halve this card's ATK until the End Phase. If you do, this card cannot be destroyed by battle. • 3: This card gains 500 ATK. You can send 1 monster Overlaid on this card to destroy 1 card on the field. You can use this effect during either player's turn. Knight-Lady of the Wasteland EARTH Warrior / Excess 8 / 3200 / 2800 This card gains 1 of the following effects, depending on the number of monsters Overlaid on this card: • 2: When a monster you control would be destroyed by battle, you can discard 1 card instead. • 4: This card gains 800 ATK. Any Battle Damage your opponent takes from battles involving this card and a monster they control is doubled. Squire of the Wasteland EARTH Warrior 4 / 1000 / 1200 If you control a face-up "Wasteland" monster, you can discard 1 card to Special Summon this card from your hand. Decrease this card's Level by 1 for each "Squire of the Wasteland" you control, except this card. Gunslinger of the Wasteland EARTH Warrior 2 / 900 / 800 If you control 3 or more "Wasteland" monsters, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. You can only use this effect of "Gunslinger of the Wasteland" once per turn. This card gains 300 ATK for each "Wasteland" monster you control. Warrior of the Wasteland EARTH Warrior 4 / 1500 / 1100 You can Tribute this card to Special Summon 2 "Squire of the Wasteland" from your hand. When this card destroys a monster by battle, increase its ATK by 400. Wasteland Tactics Continuous Spell Once per turn, when a "Wasteland" monster you control destroys a monster by battle, select 1 "Wasteland" monster you control. During your opponent's next turn, the selected monster cannot be removed from the field. Will of the Wasteland Continuous Trap A monster that was destroyed by a "Wasteland" monster cannot be Special Summoned from the Graveyard. When this card is removed from the field, add 1 "Wasteland" card, except "Will of the Wasteland" in your Graveyard to your hand. Wasteland Trap Hole Trap Card When your opponent Summons a monster, if you control a "Wasteland" monster whose Level is equal to or higher than the Summoned monster's Level, return the Summoned monster to the top of its owner's Deck. Then, you can discard 1 "Wasteland" monster to Set this card on the field. Wasteland Promotion Spell Card Add 1 "Wasteland" Excess Monster in your Deck to your hand. If you control a "Wasteland" Excess Monster, add 1 "Wasteland" card in your Deck to your hand, except an Excess Monster. Wasteland Honor Equip Spell Equip only to a "Wasteland" Excess Monster you control. The equipped monster gains 100 ATK for each monster Overlaid onto it. When a "Wasteland" non-Excess Monster you control would be destroyed, you can discard 1 card to Overlay it on the equipped monster instead.

Introduces the Dedicated sub-archetype of the Wasteland, and the first Fusion and Synchro Monsters. Emblem of the Wasteland Continuous Spell When a "Wasteland" monster you control would inflict Battle Damage to your opponent, you can Special Summon 1 "Wasteland Insignia Token" (Warrior-type/Tuner/EARTH/Level 1/ ATK ?/DEF 0) to your side of the field. The ATK of the "Wasteland Insignia Token" becomes equal to the Battle Damage you would have inflicted. Captain of the Wasteland EARTH Warrior / Synchro 5 / 2200 / 1800 "Wasteland Insignia Token" + 1 or more "Wasteland" non-Tuner monsters You can Synchro Summon this card during your Battle Phase. If you do, any Battle Damage this card inflicts to your opponent until the End Phase is halved. When a "Wasteland" monster you control destroys a monster by battle, until the End Phase increase the ATK of all "Wasteland" monsters you control by 400. Dedicated Protector of the Wasteland EARTH Warrior 4 / 800 / 2400 Your opponent cannot select another "Wasteland" monster you control as an attack target. If this card is attacked, change it to Attack Position after damage calculation. This defending card gains 200 ATK for each "Wasteland" monster you control during damage calculation. Wasteland Field Base Continuous Trap Place 5 Retreat Counters on this card. If a "Wasteland" monster you control would be destroyed by battle, you can remove 1 Retreat Counter from this card to remove the monster from play instead. During the End Phase, return all monsters that were removed from play by this effect to your side of the field. If there are no Retreat Counters on this card, destroy it. Leader of the Wasteland EARTH Warrior / Fusion 8 / 3400 / 3200 "Champion of the Wasteland" + "Captain of the Wasteland" This card gains 200 ATK for each "Wasteland" monster you control and in your Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, attacking "Wasteland" monsters cannot be destroyed, and any Battle Damage you would take from battles involving an attacking "Wasteland" monster is inflicted to your opponent instead. If this card is removed from the field, Special Summon 1 monster used as Fusion Material for its Fusion Summon from your Graveyard. Dedicated Strategist of the Wasteland EARTH Warrior 4 / 1400 / 1900 This card cannot be destroyed by battle. Once per turn, you can return 1 "Wasteland" monster you control or in your hand to the top of your Deck to draw 1 card. If the drawn card was a Monster Card, Special Summon it. Wasteland Research Spell Card Add 1 "Wasteland" Spell or Trap Card in your Deck to your hand, except "Wasteland Research". United Front in the Wasteland Continuous Spell Select 1 "Wasteland" monster you control. The Level of all "Wasteland" monsters is treated as the Level of the selected monster. When you Special Summon a monster, you can destroy this card.
So, what do you think? Too underpowered? Overpowered? TOO SOON, EXECUTUS? Link to comment
Umbra
And a bump to go with it. (I should be expecting this by now.) Link to comment
Heavens Guardian
Sounds Good But why Knights? Link to comment
Bringerofcake
This needs more Fallout references. And a Level 2. I know Squire fits, but to pull off Knight Lady's second effect, you're going to need more than just Squire. And something about Avenge: The text seems to imply that the monster destroyed is overlaid onto the Spell Card. Link to comment
Umbra
And a Level 2. I know Squire fits, but to pull off Knight Lady's second effect, you're going to need more than just Squire. And something about Avenge: The text seems to imply that the monster destroyed is overlaid onto the Spell Card.
The two are adjusted. While you theoretically could just run a different Level 2, I've added a Wasteland monster that fits the bill. The monsters are indeed supposed to be Overlaid on the equippped monster, not Avenge. (Which has now been renamed, as well.) I've never played Fallout, so I can't really pull any references. Link to comment
Umbra
A bunch of new cards have been added, organized in their own spoiler-tag for your convenience. Link to comment
