Best way to make sure your cards will get a good review.

Right so, if you want your card to look good, you need to focus on a couple things.


A fairly original effect
Picture on the card
Type
Vanilla
ID
OCG

1. For your card, you need to be able to come up with a great effect that can really go with the card.

Example:

[b]After this card is Normal Summoned, select one non-tuner monster from your deck and add it to your hand. After this card is used for a Synchro Summon, add one Equip Spell Card from your Deck and remove it from play. After your next Standby Phase, add it to your hand.[/b]

It's not the best effect but you know, it's pretty good.

2. With the picture on the card, it will make the card seem like a fairly real one, and catches the eye. You can't have a pic blurry, or with a frame around it.

Here's an example. See the border around the picture? That's makes the card look less presentable.

3. For the type, it needs to be a REAL type from the original made YU-GI-OH! card game. If you do not know the types, go here.

The types cannot be something like, "Dark Warrior". That's what makes the card look stupid and noobish.

4. I must suggest that when you post a card, it is not a vanilla. If you do not know what a vanilla is, it is a monster without an effect, but it has a back story.

5. The ID on the card must be a name for a set. Like Duelists of The Roses = DOTR. Then the number, EN---. Example: DOTR-EN001

If you incorporate these tips into your card, it should look something like this.

Cool thread. I don't make cards anymore, but I would appreciate it if you could PM me the pic for 'Beautiful Enchantress Yuki'

Also, I've seen some pretty good vanillas. You just have to be more creative and they are harder to rate.

I agree. Well, the name doesn't have to be unique. What brings me in a thread in Realistic Cards is an intriguing title, or if I look and see who created the thread.
