Daigusto Sphreez
Hmm..after some editing.. This is my altered version: Lore: This card is treated as "Dark Magician". This card can be Special Summoned by removing from play 2 non-tuner Spellcaster-Type monsters in your Graveyard. When this card is Summoned, place Spell Counters on this card (max. 6) equal to the number of Spell Cards in your Graveyard. Once per turn, you can remove 1 Spell Counter from this card to activate 1 of the following effects: ● Increase the ATK & DEF of all Spellcaster-Type monsters you control by 500 until the End Phase of your opponent's next turn. ● Destroy 1 card your opponent controls. ● Tribute 1 Spellcaster-Type monster you control to inflict damage equal to half it's original ATK to your opponent. Heavens Guardian
I am srry but i like old dark magian better U destroyed the most classic card ever created and made it new I was HAPPY but now i am sad i Like effect though. A litle overpowerful with the add 500 but it kind of hard to summon name makes me 2/10 bettter name(without destroying a classic) 7/
The Sleeping Dude
OCG fix: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by removing from play 2 Spellcaster-Type monsters you control. When this card is Summoned, place Spell Counters on it for each Spell Cards in your Graveyard (max. 6). Once per turn, you can remove 1 Spell Counter from this card to activate 1 of the following effects: ● Increase the ATK & DEF of all Spellcaster-Type monsters you control by 500 until the end of your opponent's next turn. ● Destroy 1 face-up Spell Card your opponent controls. ● Tribute 1 Spellcaster-Type monster you control to inflict damage to your opponent's Life Points equal to half of that monster's orginal attack. Overall: good card but since its dark magician its ATK and DEF must be 2500 ATK and 2100 DEF. 8/
Daigusto Sphreez
Woah, chill out maple, just a card, hardly trying to ruina classic, just updating it.. if it makes you feel better, its new name is 'Dark magician #2' Also I gave it 2500 ATK and DEF because its original lore ays its a master of both, so they should be equal, I figure, but 2500...2100, doesn't bother me either way. And thanks for ocg fix, even though the ocg was already pretty decent.
♥Łövëły-Ċħän♥
>> Thought you said that there was a Remake of Dark Magician in here? I don't see any remakes?
Daigusto Sphreez
Its a version with an effect, what would you all it? I've seen a lot of your comments, you love nothing better than to criticize do you? Your Hilarious..
♥Łövëły-Ċħän♥
But you said it was a Remake. I see nothing relatable to the original save the name. Remakes are remakes of original cards. Remake meaning its an edited version of the original while still having the main components of the original. I.E. SAME IMAGE and same name. And yes. That's what you're supposed to do here in Realistic Cards Section. Constructive Critisize.
Icy
Thermatic, this does not qualify as a Remake. Only the name and Level is the same. Not to mention, the summoning requirements blow to hell the number of support Dark Magician actually has. Please change the Card Name.
Daigusto Sphreez
I made if for a competition in the card contest area, the host assured me that this card qualifies as a remake (hence the requirement was filled). I know its very different to the original, but that was the whole point? Why make a new version of it if It's barely changed? Sorry if I snapped at you 'lovely cc' but I thought you were genuinely being picky, but if a mod doesn't see this as fitting the bill, then clearly that isn't the case. Daigusto Sphreez
OK -- thanks. well rather than remake, I'll call it 'how I would have made the card' and leave it as that.. Oh and as to the summoning requirements, its the same amount of tributes, but I made it specific to the Spellcaster-Type to compensate for its better effects. ♠>:Stick-Man:<♠
I like the old one better, strong and doesn't need an effect. Plus no need to go all out on the card man, but its too strong, 8'
Daigusto Sphreez
Fair enough. The original Dark Magician is definitely better than the artwork on this card, but I was focusing on the effect.

And give it a whole new name + Modified Dark Magician Picture? Not sure about the Spell Counter works thing (it's nice and all but feels empty). But with that little change it becomes quite an amazing card. As doing so allows this one and the Vanilla copy to exist in the same deck, (albeit suffering through the Harpy Rule blah). 2 distinct decks, both great at what they do. One is Spell Counter focused, the other is a turbo deck.
Daigusto Sphreez
Ahh its just a card, I'm not to bothered, just wasn't expecting the comments I got. I'll say how the card does when its judged anyway.. Thanks for the edit ^ . It does look quite like a 'light magician' at the moment, so I'll change the pic and name.. Daigusto Sphreez
Ok, I edited it, don't be afraid to say what you really think, might as well make this card right if I'm gonna make it at all.. I lowered the ATK because you suggested it was a tad Overpowered? either way...there it is. Not a modified dark magician picture, but I'm really not having much look finding pictures that don't already exist for one of about 5 different versions of that cards picture.. Icy
Your first remake was better lol.
Apologies. But I hate it when people actually kill a card. WHY?! Is it better based on the old version? The old version was a static boss monster, did nothing to support the original idea and had little to no uses at all. This one does; * Supports the main idea behind the cards intention (being a Dark Magician Remake) * Is actually playable with "Dark Magician" support cards * Is usable outside its own dedicated deck, while traditional dark magician can be used in its dedicated deck instead. So you aren't just killing his original intent by that, you're also dropping creativity down a few notches. Way to go "Master".
♠>:Stick-Man:<♠
Sorry JoshIcy lol, but Thermatic didn't mind so no need to get upset, and no I didn't kill it but just told him my opinion dude.
Daigusto Sphreez
Its ok, I wouldn't actually be making this card if it wasn't for a contest, let me emphasize that I made a remake because I was asked, I don't claim to be good at it, but thought it was worthy of posting.. Either way, version 3 is up.. But thanks for your help.

Even if it means attacking the ones that suppress it. (Please note: I do not use my mod abilities in these scenarios at all >_>).
