Thing is, mill is very powerful in certain decks (Lightsworn, Zombies, Quickdraw, ect..) but it's mainly used for monster's Graveyard effects which spam monsters on the field to OTK.

 

This way, you can thin your deck, set up for an attack (hence the name) but still give your opponent a chance to counter attack or get prepared for battle.

 

Last point, it can't be used in Exodia FTK's because milling would ditch the pieces!

First of all, Written Cards does not mean Image Cards With A Giant White Square In The Middle. You moron.

 

Second of all, Exodia likes discarding pieces and then retrieving them with Dark Factory of Mass Production and the like. You moron.
