Firstly the Mistral. Every BW player I know chews me out for it, but they run BW as a Beatdown/Swarm thing right? This deck is more about the synchros, and Shura quite easily gets me a 6. Also, its got decent defense stopping an opposing Shura because face it, nobody would waste a Kalut on Mistral. 1800 is actually a pretty respectable defense stat. Its also got a decent effect for mid game if you are unlucky enough to still have it in the deck when allure is gone

And I know, No Bora, but truthfully I dont see his purpose in this deck, and since I put the BWs in only recently as this once was pure dragunity was low on space

Shield wings are place holding until I get a Simorgh... Im kinda cheap and I lucked into those anyway so I might as well use them for once. Also when Barcha comes out, they will be the secondary way to Grab Barcha if Phalanx + Armed Wing isnt doable at the time.

One thing about the Whirlwind is that pretty much they all call Kaluts unless it wont be be enough, then Gale. Sirocco might call shura early but likely not. Kalut-->Gale to make armed wing is fun too.

Running Stamping to test instead of MST, and so far I like it better. I rarely do the 'on your end phase' thing anyway so thats probably why

I do not have a Delta Crow so that cant be run so thats why Swords, if I had one, Id run it there.

Now a rulings question. If Darkspear is equipped to say Dux, can he tribute a Phalanx on the field? The situation hasnt come up in game when I test... no matter how hard I try to make it, I either get Heavy'd or MST'd.

Any R/F Greatly Appreciated as long as reason comes with it unless quite obvious because I forgot some huge staple etc

Dragunity Blackwings are more Vayu Turbo oriented.

Ive done my research, I already know that one, but this is something Im trying to build IRL. I own [i]one[/i] vayu which makes that one a bit of a problem. Im pretty sure they're easy to come by though, and Ive tested the vayu turbo variant, and I like it, but yeah the Vayu thing gets in the way. Every Vayu variant Ive seen runs at least 2. Dont knock this build though, it's reasonably consistient considering the better Dragunity cards dont exist in the TCG right now

Yes Blizzard is a great idea, but where does it go? Over Mistral? If so then the only useful thing Shura can grab is Gale.

To a Blackwing Player, but not to this for the reason stated above if BW's get a lv 2 Tuner that [i]can[/i] be special summoned other than Mistral, then I'll use that instead

Yes, over Mistral. You can always grab Kalut for shenenagans with synchs, or just to direct attack.
