During your opponent's turn, if your opponent's monster declares an attack on one of your other monsters, switch the target to this card. If "Guardian Angel Lv. 4" is attacked because of this effect, it is not destroyed. Battle damage is applied. When this effect is activated, during your standby phase, you can destroy this card and special summon 1 "Guardian Angel Lv. 6" from your hand or deck. Flaming Sword of Guardian Angels Equip Spell Equip only to a monster that has "Guardian Angel" in its card name. The equipped monster's ATK is raised by 500 points. If the equipped monster is destroyed by its own effect, return this card to your hand. Guardian Angel's Halo Equip Spell Equip only to a monster that has "Guardian Angel" in its card name. The equipped monster is not destroyed by battle. Battle damage is still applied. Heaven's Gate Spell Send a monster on your side of the field to the graveyard. It has relatively low ATK and decent effect. However, it could be nice with Machine Emperors. Can protect other monster by redirecting the attack to itself, and it's not destroyed by battle then. It can be nice to protect the monsters that need to stay on the field for a bit longer, like Legendary Fiend (lol, I actually mentioned it). Then, if you use that effect, it destroys itself and Special Summons LV6. I'm interested in "destroy" part, as other LV monsters have "send". Machine Emperor abuse, simply said. [b]Guardian Angel Lv. 6[/b] First effct is a bit different than LV4, because it doesn't destroy itself, just negate its effect. Ok. And, instead of redirecting the attack, it redirects the targeting effect. It's fine a attack redirection, because it can save you from cards like Mind Control or others. And, if you use it, blows itself to search LV8. Again, Machine Emperors. [b]Guardian Angel Lv. 8[/b] So this one is a semi-nomi. And also negates its effect upon summon with no monsetrs on opponent's field. Effect is quite similiar to the LV6 one, but it doesn't redirect, just destroys. But, in my opinion, it's not worth the effort. Especially as it doesn't protect itself. If I used them, I'd stick with LV6. [b]Flaming Sword of Guardian Angels[/b] So it boosts Guardian Angels with 500 ATK. A bit too little in my opinion. You could make it 1000 or something. And then, if Guardian Angel destroys itself, you can return it to hand. Nice because of reusablity. Also, it's funny as you can equip existing Guardian Angel Joan with this. [/quote] If you read the effect of Guardian Angel Lv. 4, you'll find that it destroys itself if there are no monsters on [i]your[/i] side of the field. Link to comment
