Flaring Rose
Well. my birthday is comming up and for some queer reason, I am dreaming about it. Liek how it will turn out. I even once dreamt of my untie dying and 1 week later... (R.I.P) So have any of you dreamt of the future? Like birthdays, new cars, or some other stuff? Discuss. Yang Xiao-Long
I have sometimes deja vu dreaming of scenarios that last 10 seconds but feel like 10 minutes (all while dreaming for about 8 hours). Those moments then repeat themselves a few days or weeks later with the same feeling of slowness (except the 7 hours). It's really weird for me. Legend Zero
I get the deja vu feeling sometimes, but I really did have a dream of a presentation I had to do and it was exactly the same as my dream. @.@
Flaring Rose
Sometimes I think it is some saught of sign. But who knows why we dream about these kind of things.
Marisa Kirisame-ze
Haha, always. I do this thing where I sit down for hours and make up future scenarios. Weird, isn't it? Then I think of all the things I can do during that scenario and usually, I imagine it all working out to my liking. Do these scenarios ever happen? Sometimes. And when they do, I'm always really happy that day. It's quite nice to plan out something that made you smile in your mind, then see it happen in reality. I usually just think of future conversations I'd love to have. Most of the time, the scenario involves my crush, but sometimes it can go a bit broader than that. Galita
This happens to me too often... .-. I dream about random events such as me walking down a specific street and then I bump into an old friend in said street, then this happens to me the day that I wake up... It's annoying at times, at others rather interesting. =P

Brinolovania
I once had a dream a while ago involving an older me (high school age) walking through a fair with an incredibly hot girl...I really hope it comes true.
Marisa Kirisame-ze
@Sky Fire; The time before I sleep is the most active time of the day for my head. I do all my thinking laying down there, or sitting around in my room, and that's when I think of my scenarios. I actually want to dream about them, so I can dream about her; however, I never remember my dreams anymore and it all just seems like a black canvas when I'm sleeping. Luckily, it doesn't turn into nightmares. I'm sorry it does that for you ;O

I try to dream about lots of stuff. Maybe I do, just can't remember them.
Legend Zero
IIRC, every time we sleep we dream, it's remembering that's the problem. My last nightmare was having a murder enter my house...whenever I have a dream like that I freeze up and can't even speak, makes me wonder how I would do if it actually happened.
I have alot of dreams making me stop in my tracks. I even once had a dream I was on a boat like in the start of COD 4 and went through that As if I was Soap. I had a murderer enter my house aswell, through the toilet window. He looked like Hannibal Lecture or how ever you spell it. It was spooky. Not even my karate skills help me in my nightmares. xNightshadex
I've had dreams of my parents arguing, then the next day...their arguing. Other than that, I don't really dream about stuff like that. Maybe I do, but I don't remember them. For some odd reason, I almost always remember nightmares, but hardly ever remember dreams. Weird. Nu.
I don't get it so much now that my life is progressing slower. But I kept dreaming about, liek, 2-second clips of a reality I was about to live, then I'd wake up, live it, and suddenly be like "Holy s***... I dreamt that..." Also, I get this thing in dreams where inside the dream I realize it's just a dream, then suddenly everyone in the dream turns around and tries to kill me. Kinda like that scene in Inception. So I suppose when everyone around you tries to kill you, you wake up? Lawl, you should try to take control of the dream when you're in that scenario again. Mehmani
Deja vu is a psychological quirk, though the majority of it is placebo. Most people only start getting deja vu when they are old enough to understand what it is, so for the most part it's just placebo. That's not to say it isn't interesting though as in my opinion it's one of the most fascinating ways in which placebo manifests itself. You know, I dreamt of my untie dying once. And then the strangest thing happened! The next morning, my shoelaces had turned blue!
hexcalibrate
what you have descriped is whats known as a "Precognitive Dream" it is when you supposedly dream of future events, and this phenomenon has two plausible explainations: 1. you have a dream about a previous event in your life but you cannot completely remember the dream, when your then in a similar situation you mind puts the dream and the current event together, making you believe that you have already dreamed the future. 2. you dream about a event that is going to happen and how you think it might turn out, then if your dream is similar to the event you think that that your dream has happened. Felix Culpa
Well, I don't know about hoping for the future. But I have really weird dreams where I'll see everything about a certain scenario while dreaming. And this occurs about 2 weeks-4 months before the actual event occurs. And this is not "somewhat like" the event. I've had this happen the day before. And I'm a very clear dreamer. I keep a dream journal of all the unimportant dreams now, and go back and check every now and then. A few pages of them have X's on them when I've seen that happen in the present. Darth Duelist
When we moved into my previous house, I already knew the floor plan. I felt like I was destined to be here, but I don't even believe in destiny... But then we moved, but I still don't feel the same way about our current house. Creepy...
