May I have some OCG help?

Stan Alda

Question

I'm working on a poker-themed archetype. Each card's level depends on its face value (ace of clubs is level 1, 2 of clubs is level 2, etc.), and hands are determined by which cards you have on the field.

However, I'm having considerable trouble with how to put a straight into OCG. I know what a straight is, but I'm not quite sure how it would fit into the OCG.

Here is the given card, as a point of reference:
This card cannot be destroyed by Spell, trap, or monster effects. This card cannot be destroyed except by the effect of "Blackjack Table", or by Tributing this card during your Main Phase. As long as this card is on the field, you may summon "Riderback" monsters without tribute. Once every other turn, during your Main Phase, you may activate one of the following effects:
-If there are 2 "Riderback" monsters with the same level on your side of the field, inflict 200 damage to your opponent's Life Points.
-If there are 3 "Riderback" monsters with the same level on your side of the field, increase your Life Points by 300.
-If there are 4 "Riderback" monsters with the same level on your side of the field, inflict 400 damage to your opponent's Life Points and increase your Life Points by 400.
-If there are 5 "Riderback" monsters on your side of the field of the same type, destroy up to 2 monsters on your opponent's side of the field.
-The Part In Question (Straight) Destroy up to 2 Spell or Trap cards on your opponent's side of the field.
-If there are is a "Riderback 10", "Riderback Jack", "Riderback Queen", "Riderback King", and "Riderback Ace" on your side of the field of the same type, inflict 1000 damage to your opponent's Life Points.
Once you have activated an effect on this card, destroy all "Riderback" monsters on your side of the field.
Straight - If you have 5 Riderback monsters of different levels on the field, and the sum of all the levels are 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 or 40- [rest of the effect]. If the levels are not consecutive, this effect is not applied.

On a completely unrelated note, the entire Riderback concept looks like garbage.

Firstly, 52 card decks are awful.

Secondly, their support card is awful, and their overall effects are awful.

If it were up to me, the entire concept would be changed to something more fitting to match the fast pace of a poker game, and the support wouldn't be godawful.

Add a "Riderbacks can't be used for a Synchro Summon" to them. Let them be able to be normal summoned.

Make a support card that's like "Special Summon as many Riderbacks from your hand as possible, RFG them during the end phase. Take damage equal to their levels times 100."

Make another support like "Draw 5. RFG all non Riderbacks."

Make a third one, a continuous spell, with an effect like Polymerization, except it fuses Riderbacks.

And then make a crap load of Fusions based on the combinations you can get. A pair, three of a kind, a straight, a full house. Make their effects relative to the number of levels you put in, like they get that many number of attacks or their attack becomes the levels they used x 200 or something. That way your risk of putting in high level monsters is rewarded by getting stronger monsters instead of "lol! burn for 400!"

Sure, you might make some ridiculously overpowered card I hadn't thought of yet, but it's a fanfiction. What good is a hero if he doesn't pull out the mighty ace at the last second? What good is a villain without a super powerful combo?

But that's just my opinion.
