Well, here's my sorry excuse for an Excess monster. I don't know how I did, so please feel free to leave harsh comments.
Thanks :D

Lore:
When this card is successfully Exceed Summoned, you can remove from play a number of cards in your Graveyard equal to the number of Overlaid monsters on this card to destroy a number of Set Spell or Trap cards your opponent controls equal to or less than the number of cards removed this way. Once per turn, when this card would be destroyed by a card effect when it has no Overlaid monsters on it, it is not, and it gains one additional attack during your next Battle Phase.

First of all, I would like to thank you both for actually clicking on this! (This is the most comments I've gotten within 5 minutes ^^)
Anyways, I do realize it can be OP'ed, but I think what throws the effect off a bit is that you need to use up the Overlaid monsters first, before it can get its once per turn immunity. Either way, thanks for your comments, and I will edit this accordingly when I get more suggestions :D

Yup, I know it's OP'ed.
I'll try nerfing it, but I'm still going to try to keep the "Hydra" theme (See below).

Now, Mythology Lesson! *Yay...*

The Hydra was a mythological creature which had 9 heads to begin with. Every time one of its heads would be cut off, it would instantly regrow 2 more heads...
uh...that's all...

Therefore, I'm still trying to keep the idea that it can "regenerate" and put its "extra heads" to use :D

I see that you're try to make an Excess Monster, well i think that it's good, cool pic and good effect. Well about making the effect less OP'ed, well let me try :

Well that's my opinion ^^. Hope that can help you ;)

Make it level 9. There you go, fixed. Only 1 possible combination which requires 3 monsters. Makes the second effect even harder to use and makes the first effect viable and fits with the fluff even more having a star for every head.

Honestly, a really awesome card and effect. It needs balancing but otherwise it's great.

My response to the 2nd effect being overpowered is this (Smesh taught me this):
If something bad is going to happen when you try to destroy it, your opponent probably won't be idiotic enough to try to destroy it with card effects. Therefore, its 2nd effect won't activate much as long as you aim to destroy it by battle.

This. I just missed the "when this card has no cards Overlaying it..." part.

Smart thing that Smesh taught you...

Excess monsters can only have a even number as its level.

Ok, the first part of the effect is long, but I guess that is alright. I have done longer on one of my old sets. Iam think either increasing it's attack or defence. Perhaps for the attack to 2700?
Anyway. I like the picture. But that doesn't always need to be the case. The effect is unique and can really piss some people off if you have some cards that send monsters to the graveyard.
*Smells a set idea* I am also thinking its type should be Sea Serpent not Dragon... Just an idea.

Anyway. Others have corrected the OCG, so no point of me repeating what everyone else have said.

Picture: 10/10
Effect: 10/10
OCG: 9.5/10 (Might be another error.)

Total: 29.5/30

Keep them comming.
