Vigilance of the Duelist

I believe that it's time to start off 2011 with a bang, with the unveiling of three new Archetypes at once! To save trouble, though, I'm calling it all Vigilance of the Duelist (VOD.)

This pack too contains two main Archetypes for those who don't know my style by now.

Torque: This Archetype involves a race of warriors either based on blinding speed or limitless flight. Their Attributes are all WIND, and their abilities either allow them to get the jump on a well-established field, or to take advantage of the hand during otherwise-blistering attacks by their opponent. They are not so much played out to exploit an advantage, but more to create an advantage.

The Aquamaria (Legends): This Archetype, however is more based on a strange, but feasible, method of Summoning powerful beat sticks. The Aquamarias are a race of mostly low-level WATER monsters that, in one way or another, reveal cards from the bottom of your Deck. This seems tame, but this strategy is necessary to bring out the Aquamaria Legends, a secondary tier of extremely powerful monsters that Summon themselves when revealed from the Deck by an Aquamaria monster. They are one-pop effects, though, and it relies on a remarkably random way of Summoning, but their abilities make up for it when they do come out. They can revolutionize the field in one well-played turn and pick victory out of the blue, regardless of the odds.

These pics, as always, are not mine, however much I wish they were. The authors that made them though, will be mentioned in the card, just to the southwest of the picture.

Well, that's it. Review and enjoy....whatever you need to do to show your opinion about these cards, just do it. Not like Woods, though. That's overdoing it. In more ways than one.

 that's a lot of cards. a very well-developed archetype. just a few ocg errors here and there. for e.x.: "Jade Nevermore, the Torque Queen: Once per turn, when you discard a "Torque" monster from your hand to activate its effect, you can negate that effect and destroy 1 monster your opponent controls with a Level equal to the discarded monster's Level, instead." I would maintain continuity with my terms and replace "discarded" with "destroyed."
