Mehmani
As this is an Alfred thread, you probably came here for the monologue about how CC has gone to the dogs and it's dominated by pseudo-intellectual "reviewers" who know as much about the metagame as Buddhist monks know about gang crime, and you'd be right in thinking that, because it is true. But, however, CC is improving, and I am proud to say that my rather weak efforts have made a different. With more focus being put on the metagame when reviewing cards, CC is becoming a better place both for card-makers and reviewers, even for people who just like to browse through the works of others (LURKERS). My quest to turn RC into something more like Written Cards is slowly working. Being a pun-smith, I could say that RC was like a WC, and now it's turning into WC (I really hope someone out there got that). I would also like to apologize - this paragraph has been far too chummy and far too affable for dedicated rant fans. And as I sit here at my desk with a copy of Bad Science by Ben Goldacre next to me, I read out a quote from a Times reviewer (Tory pseudo-broadsheet bull, if you ask me): "...laying about himself in a froth of entirely justified indignation, Goldacre slams the mountebanks and bullshitters who misuse science". In the following paragraph, I, laying about myself in a froth of entirely justified indignation, will slam the mountebanks and bullshitters who misuse their popularity and reputation to seem like "good reviewers". I look forward to it. Drawing upon another scientific (and another Goldacre titbit), in Biology, when we want to collect some rough data on a small habitat (like a school playing field), we use a metal square called a quadrat. We throw it into the grass and look at all the flora and fauna within the quadrat, and use this data to produce a rough idea of what goes in that habitat. Here, I will throw my metaphorical quadrat into the overgrown urban jungle that is RC and tear apart all who fall inside it. My first target is the abundance of pseudo-intellectual "card experts" who lurk the hallowed halls of RC spouting their shallow, nonsensical bile at anything that moves, shallow being the key word. Despite my efforts and the efforts of an increasingly aware and dedicated team of staff (plus the C&O activists), they are still the most abundant species in RC. The Rattus Rattus - like rats, you are never more than a short distance away from one (that urban legend is not true, rather intriguingly). Beauty is only skin deep, but these people don't have anywhere near the intellectual capacity to look deeper. They see some fancy holographic design and shiny name holo bought from the GFX Shops and they see nothing more. These people rate cards based on the PICTURE (CAPS LOCK FOR LOUD, BOOMING EMPHASIS) and not the effect. They probably don't know what viability means, let alone understand it's rather deep and ever-changing concepts. These eyeball ripping, originality killing, cancerous organisms are what is killing CC. I imagine when confronted with this, they will probably be angry. That's a fairly normal response, so much so that I would surprised if they weren't angry. They are nice guys, most of them. The same cannot be said for the next nugget of data caught in the quadrat... Next rant coming soon. Now for the cards. All images are from Jazin Kay unless specified otherwise.

This card cannot be destroyed by battle. If this card is in face-up Defense Position, destroy it. When you would Special Summon a "Cloudian - Smoke Ball", you can Special Summon this card instead. Each player can only use the effect of "Cloudian - Fading Cirrus" once per Duel. When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard, you can place 1 Fog Counter on 1 monster you control. byakk (ze super cat), inventor of Cloudian OTK is the inspiration for this and the other Cloudian I made. I would like to say that Cloudians have more depth than abusing a weak Normal Monsters through rapid summoning, but they don't. So I thought that instead of having to borrow popular Tuners designed for splashability, why not have a useful utility Tuner designed specifically for the archetype. It only works once so it doesn't fill up deck space and it makes the Synchro engine faster.

You can Tribute 1 monster with 0 ATK on the field to Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. When a monster with 0 ATK is sent to the Graveyard, you can draw 1 card. During the End Phase of the turn this card is Summoned, send the top 3 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard. What can I say? Gives Reptiliannes another Vaskii, helps you draw into more Vaskiis, and with the discarding Reptiliannes do it's easy enough to get this into the Graveyard. The mill is a mixed blessing - it could mill more Vaijra (Vagina) to get more out or it could mill cards you don't necessarily like to see milled. It's a simple drawback that adds strategic depth to the card's usage. It's mini-draw engine potential is a nice touch, adding speed to a deck that sorely needs it. I would like to thank Dr. Cakey for popularizing Reptiliannes and encouraging me to build them.

1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters You can remove 1 "Cloudian" monster in your Graveyard from play to Special Summon 1 "Cloudian - Smoke Ball". You can Tribute 1 "Cloudian" monster you control to return 1 card on the field to the top of it's owner's Deck. Thanks again to byakk for his passionate beliefs regarding Cloudians. It's about time Cloudians got their own Synchro, seeing as the archetype's only use is to synch. It's simple - summon it (easy with Cloudians), remove a Cloudian to get Smoke Ball out and tribute to clear the field and attack for game with the other ridiculous synchros you have just got out. An optional but effective addition.

If you control 2 or more "Batteryman" monsters, you can Special Summon this card from your hand or Graveyard. When a "Batteryman" monster you control is destroyed, you can pay 1000 Life Points to remove it from play. Special Summon the removed monster(s) during your next Standby Phase. Once per turn, you can return 1 "Batteryman" monster you control to the bottom of your Deck to have this card gain ATK equal to the number of "Batteryman" monster on the field x500 until the End Phase. When this card is destroyed, remove from play all "Batteryman" monsters Special Summoned by this effect. I would like to thank RobotBowtieOfDestruction for promoting Batterymen, they are a fun and cheap deck to build. It is only in hindsight that I realize that this card shares a name with a WarioWare character, but hey, you learn new things every day. For added realism I named him after a size of battery that has not been used yet AND made him Level 7 to fit in with the Batteryman archetype (they have made different Batterymen for every level up to 8 except 7). It's simple if you know how Batteryman OTK works - use his Faultroll-inspired effect to get him out, use his summon effect to stall until you get Short Circuit, clear with Circuit and remove any Batterymen that aren't AA to attack for huge damage. Simple but effective.

This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, you can Normal Summon it to have it be treated as an Effect Monster with this effect: - You can Tribute this card to Special Summon 1 Gemini Monster from your hand or Deck. While this card is in your Graveyard, the Summoned monster's effect(s) are negated. Chthonians - an archetype containing only a single member, mainly due to the difficulty of spelling the name. In Japan they are more simply called "Hell". Realizing that making support for the archetype would be pointless unless I made a lot of it, I went for splashability instead and made it a Gemini staple.

You can Normal Summon this card without Tributing. If you do, it is sent to the Graveyard during the End Phase. When this card is Normal Summoned, destroy all monsters on the field except this card. For each monster destroyed with this card's effect, place 1 counter on this card. This card gains 200 ATK for each counter on it. I named him after a 2002 World Cup mascot. Yes. I did. Majestic Mechs are only really useful for being quick beaters (insert penis joke). I decided that as Majestic Mechs have little to no synergy, I went for the splashability approach - I made him a quick game-finisher and a walking Dark Hole. It's not nearly as broken as it sounds.

This card gains 2000 ATK during the Damage Step only. You can Tribute this card to send 1 "Destiny Hero" monster from your Deck to the Graveyard and Special Summon 1 Level 2 or lower monster from your hand. It's effect(s) are negated. When this card is removed from the field it is removed from play. I'll admit it - I made this card because when I saw the artwork, I just thought WOW. Don't rate the card highly because of it though. I'm not keen on that. Seeing as Destiny Heroes are relics of a format long ago (Disk Commander and DDT for the win) and the only look-in they get nowadays is through Malicious, I thought I'd give them a splashable support card. It sends Malicious to the Graveyard so you can synch with the Tuner you just summoned and it's a handy beatstick.

Arctic_Circle34
Dang. Chthonian Nightmare Skull is way OP'd. Summon Nightmare, equip Supervise, Special Gigaplant, activate effect. Great pic, Op'd effect. I don't see how it matters for MM - Ato to gain counters if it is in the Graveyard. It destroys all monsters, including itself. Starlight Dog is a tad broken. 2100 beater that can Special a Tuner and mill off Malicious.

Zektor
errors: destiny hero - starlight dog is OPed also I think Cloudian - Stratos Dragon should be level 10 as I have yet to see a level 8 synchro with 3000 ATK let alone 3100, I think the highest level 9 synchro's attack is 3000. Lastly I think battery 9-volt should be a level 9 because every batteryman's name is related to its level. tthose suggestions are just to fit the archtypes trend. 9/10 love the idea check my sig to see what a 9/10 means

He is wrong. He knows nothing of the metagame or the TCG.
