I'm home schooled. But in the event I get into normal school, I will probably not be fazed by bullying. And my size and strength will probably leave me unaffected. And besides, I have a cop for a dad. I know how to defend myself.

I feel sorry for you. Was she a friend?

I feel sorry for her friends and family.:/ There's no point in being sorry for her since she's already dead, but it always makes me feel bad when bullying goes as far as to make someone commit suicide.

And on the other site I've been bullied before as well, usually treated like an object which was the worst kind I remember or the usual racism. But I survived it.-_-

Well you're lucky, I guess you would be on the safe side then.

... Really?

OT - Poor Allison. She shouldn't have committed suicide, but sometimes people do things on instinct and in the rush of the moment, I guess. My apologies to her family, they must be going through a lot right now. ><

Bullying is a real problem... on the outside, the victim may seem fine, but on the inside, he/she is falling apart (I guess Allison fell apart, huh?). I still get bullied on occasion... it feels awful. However, most of all, I hate seeing others harassed because of their differences or interests. That Samaritan that decides to finally stick up for a victim of bullying has my highest respect, and I'm trying to become one. ^^

After all, there's nothing wrong with paying it forward, right?

Congratulations! You have won!

Why have you won? You have made it clearly obvious that you are a moron with apparently no emotion that goes around spamming threads with stupid internet memes!

YOU ARE THE EMBODIMENT OF ALL THE [s]RETARDED[/s] COOL PEOPLE [s]IN THE WORLD[/s] ON THE INTERNET!

WOOOO~

Can you believe that some parents actually think bullying is ok?

It sickens me.

Link? I need a good raeg target right now.

I have to answer yes to both questions. The main reason I was a bully was because I was bullied. Crap excuse is still crap though.

This is a horrific story.

I live in the UK and bullying within schools is rife. I made it my business to go round and stamp it out whever I saw any, I took a few bruises along the way but in the end it was worth it.

On a second note can I just say something in regards to Mikhail Tal's comment:

Mikhail Tal's comment was - "cool story bro" I know that this seems offensive and horrendously insensitive however I think something has been lost in translation. I hope you realise Mikhail that your choice of words "cool story bro" was one of the poorest choices of words you will ever construct in you life and I hope you realise that the connotations of "cool story bro" supports the bullying story itself. I think what Mikhail meant to convey was the fact that bullying was being noted and is being treated seriously in this thread, I think what he meant to say was "I'm glad that bullying is getting a mention on YCM, it is a serious issue that needs dealing with"

Poor choice of words bro, think next time yeah.

Oh look, a thread about bullying, we totally haven't had one of these before.
I quite appreciated that this thread was put up. I haven't been here long and I have never seen another bullying thread. Bullying is a serious issue and should be treated with respect.

I'm sorry if this offends you but I hope you understand.

Bullies are just compensating for something by bullying other people.
Or they're trying to relieve stress from other people bullying them. That's how I was, classmates bullied me, so I bullied the classmates who were weaker than me.

Now, I just stopped caring. People can say the most retarded and evil things about me, and I can just shrug them off. Just goes to show you.

No. He just trolled your ass, and everyone elses that even responded to him.

But OT: Bullying/discrimination is usually at it's peak around adolescence. Sometimes it doesn't need a reason, other than general maliciousness due to hormones.

So? If you have nothing to add to the topic, then don't add anything at all. Question everything? Well I'm questioning your so-called intelligence because in terms of stupidity in forum posts, you're pretty much on par with some other people on the forum. Both in terms of arrogance and stupidity, but usually those 2 things go together, like you've just proven.

Please don't mind Mikhail Tal; joke accounts shouldn't be taken seriously. Anyways, you're better than getting mad over jokes, right?

I actually saved my brother from a bully in elementary school. It's a very long story, though, so I'd rather explain it in private where there's no topic to keep track of.

Bullying is often needed. If a child goes through childhood without ever being mocked or hurt, they are unprepared for how horrible life is. My sister's parents (half-sister) want to raise her in some messed-up Montessori way that means that no one will ever let her get teased or hurt. If you go into adult life with no experience of mental pain, you are going to be an over-sensitive, messed-up person. I've been bullied my whole life for being homosexual (I'm just flamboyant), short, ugly and fiercely intelligent (not to mention arrogant). I learnt to deal with it. And I consider myself more than ready for the life ahead of me know that I know what's coming.

Also, Paranoia Infinite, joke accounts don't stay on this site for nearly 3 years whilst constantly staying active.

Bullying will continue forever because it is a human need to feel superior in one way or another just like cruelity is in all of our hearts. Bullying may always exist but standing up for others works just as well. I'm a pacifist and even my school dean thoguht it was amazing that I wasn't Christian because when fighting and rumors went on and s***, I was like a damn preacher. Sure, I have no religious association but you all have to agree that using religious figures such as God, Satan, Buhhda, and Ala make a good example especially when talking to religious specific. Sure, we have our normal problems with others that result in violence but that can always be prevented by someone a hell of a lot stronger. In times of constant teasing and insulting your classmate received. Always emotionally support these people when you can. Always stand up for them and stop giving a s*** about whatever reputation you have in high school. Seriously, you only have 4 years with these people. When I graduated, in our senior yearbook polls, I was "most likely to become a serial killer" and "most likely to become well known peace protester" Even after high school in college, treat it the same except for fighting because if you do end up fighting, it's fair game because everyone is 18 or older. Never resort to violence and go by the way of Martin Luther King Jr. Welcome your oppressor as a friend and treat them with kindness, pacifism, and a sense of hesitation. Run when they start becoming violent and stay where you are when they're yelling at you.

Agreed, in my junior year, we did a report on censorship and I got the internet. I told the most bitchy girl in my class, if she doesn't know what flame wars, trolls, or sock puppets are then she doesn't need to be on the internet.
