Dr. Cakey
If you can't beat 'em, beat 'em anyway and also join 'em. That's the inspiration behind the Chaos Busters: to be the next [s]Lightsworns[/s] [s]Blackwings[/s] [s]Machinas[/s] [s]X-Sabers[/s] [Infernity[/s] [s]Quickdraw[/s] whatever it is people are running these days. "But wait," you say, "Realistic Cards is for cards balanced to such an incredible degree they wouldn't stand a chance against Equip Warriors!" And you're right. But why make a balanced card where people alternate between "great card 12/10" and "kind of opd i think to draw a card you shud have to pay 3000 lp instead of 2000 becuz drawing is really good", when you could make GOOD CARDS? That and these aren't broken. Yes, you can take on the meta without being anti-meta AND without being broken. beefman
They look more like machines than psychics, but they well follow the general idea of psychics and use it well in very good cards. 9é10Wtf happened to my slash

Anyway, didn't get very far yet, but it seems a lot like the six sams effects where they benefit from having another one on the field. I find it funny that it's an archetype of all tuners, even the synchro monsters. I haven't found any problems yet, but I'll let you know if I do. Lord Smeagle
Hey, Cakey...try Jazin Kay's Photobucket Archive. It works! But all these cards are really neat. Their retrieval effect IS really annoying, but I think people would just start siding in RFP and bounce-tech to counter them. I would add the drawback of some of them (Nightmare especially) having to have another Chaos Buster monster on the field to use their effects, because Nightmare could easily be run as a Change-of-Heart-in-a-can in any other deck. Dr. Cakey
All of them are either Allies of Justice or Vairon, except for Nightmare, which is Unknown Synchron, and Over Catastrophe, which is the art for Descending Lost Star. I made these basically as an archetype that I'd really want to play, so I stuffed my favorite things into them. Psychic, my favorite Type, WIND, my favorite Attribute, and the look of monsters like some of the Allies of Justice and Vairon.
I actually didn't think of the fact that they're a lot like Six Sams in that way...should've realized. I did it so they wouldn't simply be able to splashed into any deck and become over-powered. I've always liked Tuners and Tuner support. The idea that the monsters sort of...resonate...just seems awesome to me. It also qualifies them for Tuner support like Tuner's Barrier. Also Accel Synchros.
Obviously there's going to be ways to side against them - probably the best is simple S/T destruction. A well-time Fairy Wind could wreck them completely. As for Nightmare, you're probably right. How about this: "This card cannot be Special Summoned. When this card is Normal Summoned, equip 1 monster your opponent controls to this card. This card gains its ATK. <Remove the effect to protect the equipped monster> When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, Special Summon the equipped monster to your opponent's side of the field in Defense Position." Or do you think it should be any time it's sent to the Graveyard? EDIT: Fun fact: Did you know you can use Dark Simorgh with the Chaos Busters? Add Chaos Sorcerer, too, for MAXIMUM TROLLING. And hey, why not include Psychic Path to get back the monsters you removed to summon either of these guys?
