CommanderVolt
You can substitute this card for any 1 Fusion Material Monster. When you do, the other Fusion Material Monster(s) must be the correct one(s). You can discard this card to the Graveyard to add 1 "Polymerization" from your Deck to your hand. After i saw the last boss in Duel Transer troll the hell out of my dad with this card i thought i should bring up a discussion about it. Usual Space in some fusion decks and...is a Debris Target. Discuss!
evilfusion
Best Fusion sub in the game in my opinion. Not only is it a WATER, making it an option for Absolute Zero, it's searchable, can search Poly by discarding it, can be used with Debris, and has all the perks of being a Fusion Material substitute. Very cool card.
Great Unclean One: VK
Amazing card with amazing effect and amazing art. Plus it's searchable, Zero-able, and could be used for my XYZ deck.
HaouJudai
and I just bought a set of duel terminal KoTs this week!!!! This card is just plain mandatory in a fusion deck. It is one stop shopping. It's a swiss army knife of fusion function. i wish so hard they would create a fiend version of this guy for the evil heroes that searches out dark fusion. ...if only. something I would like to see are ways to search him to the hand - gold sarc - sangan - what else? King of Swamp, unlike Ehero Prisma, doesn't take the name of the Fusion Material Monster, it can just substitute for a specific material monster when used for a Fusion Summon. XYZ fusions are Fusion monsters, but they aren't Fusion Summoned, so King doesn't do anything for them. Also, just for the record, Fusion monsters that state "A Fusion Summon can only be performed using the above Fusion Material monsters" (Cyber Dragon Fusions) also cannot use King of the Swamp or other Fusion Subs. Shizuku Oikawa
Good substitute is good. He can search Poly. He can become Absolute Zero. He can turn into basically whatever Fusion, as long as you have another card that is required. And is Debris-able. I swear, they need to make new Fusion Substitutes that have a cool effect like; "If this card is used as a Fusion Material Monster for a Fusion Monster, that monster [insert lulzy effect here]." Canadian
^ lol @ how 5 people repeated the same thing in different posts. While it may be a great support for fun Fusion decks its completely outclassed by the stupid combos created by Future Fusion and Prisma. Decks that run Polymerization tend to be inconsistant and can end up in dead draws which immediately kill this cards playability in any real world meta scenerios. I wish it had an errata where it included "Card with 'Fusion' or 'Polymerization' in it's name" instead of limiting itself to Poly. I <3 it though.
Because we're lazy to find anything else to compliment it, since it has been already been taken. It can be Miracle Fusion'd into lulzy E-Hero. evilfusion
You can when using the Hex Sealed Fusions(those Rock Guys)
Only by using the Hex Sealed's effect to Tribute Fusion Materials for the Fusion Monster. That's because this Summon is not a Fusion Summon. You can't use Sparkman + Light Hex to Summon Thunder Giant, though, since Ehero Fusions can only be Summoned by Fusion Summon, but you can use other Fusion cards with that combination. DARKPLANT RISING
It's a God card. Proof: 1. The Japanese name has "Shin" in its name. "Numachi No Mashin Oh". 2. It has a blue crystal on the top of its head 3. It's badass
thefoursoulsofcaius
pitch for poly, summon debris, synch for gungir. lolzy stuff can happen with this
Sephiroth_The_Legend
Finding Super Rare copies of these is tough. Such an old yet good HL1 card. It's a shame it can't get cards with Fusion or Poly in its name (like Fusionist) Ditch King of Swap => Future Fusion = Win x9000
Mysty
Use its effect to add Polymerization to your hand. Miracle Fuse this for Avain/Bubbleman for E•Hero Marauder (or whtever it's called) Set Polymerization Attack directly This was the winning move for a crappy Elemental Hero deck. One of the best, if not the best, Fusion-Substitute monster.
