2011 Superbowl

  1. 1. I wonder what the question is...

    • Green Bay Packers
    • Pittsburgh Steelers

The 2011 Superbowl is played between the Green Bay Packers (the NFC Champions) and the Pittsburgh Steelers (the AFC Champions) at the Cowboys' stadium in Dallas, Texas.

So pretty much, discuss anything and everything about this big event.

People watch for the game, people watch for the ads, people watch for the stupidest of reasons. But people watch, except those select few social outcasts, and maybe some females who are watching the woman's television marathon on A&E (oh, and Europeans, they don't watch).

Personally, I think the Packers are going to win. I'm really happy that the Steelers beat down the Jets, since I'm a Patriots fan (yeah, screw you Jets), but this is their eigth AFC Championship, iirc. They do not need a seventh Superbowl win, and they probably won't get it.

Here's what I'm going to say. I live in Western Pennsylvania, Steelers are my team of choice, so naturally I want to see them win. However, I do see and respect everyone's wanting them not to win because they're already 6 Time Champions. Whether they will get it or not is iffy this year. Both teams have their problems.

I have more connections to the Steelers since my mother's side of the family is from Pittsburgh, but I like to root for the underdog, so...

Go Green Bay!

From what I can tell, Green Bay is not the underdog. Maybe they were the underdog all throughout regular season, but a lot more people think the Packers are going to win this one.

Ehh. *From Pittsburgh*

Even though I don't care too much about football, the Steelers have been to the Superbowl twice in recent years, and a lot of their current players have been there and have the experience. For that reason, I think they're probably a lot better off going into the game.

So I'm rooting for the Steelers, and I do think that they're going to win.

Packers have Aaron Rodgers. He is pretty much the only thing they need to winning this Superbowl. I didn't beleeve in him before, but after he raped the Falcons, I joined the Church of Football's A-Rod.

How is a discussion about football supposed to "ward off idiocy" >_>
Anyways I'm fairly sure steelers will win, also while I'm not a sports fan, my family is all steelers fans

Good question.

Instead of the idiots and morons going to a thread in General that requires semi-intelligent discussion, they can come here and trash-talk their socks off!
