OrganicPsycho
After beating Okami I was hit with inspiration. This is my first try at making cards so be nice =D I haven't played Yu-Gi-Oh in years though so sorry if the cards seem a little broken or whatever xD Criticism and commentary would be good =) This is the order First there are the 'gami's, the Gods of Okami as well as their specific powerups. Then there are the other good guys and finally the villains. I'v added some explanation to the cards, but be warned there are major spoilers about Okami in the descriptions and on some of the cards Ammy, the hero of the game with her powerups: Chibiterasu, the hero of the soon to be released Okamiden: The three Hanagami (Floral Gods) I considered making a fusion card 'Hanagami' which I might do some other time. I also considered giving them abilities but so many of these cards have I decided to leave it Yomigami the rejuvination God: Tachigami and his powerslash equip cards (most of the spell cards seem to be equip cards). Powerslash 3 stacks on top of powerslash 2 for a theoretical total of 3000 attack Bakugami comes next. He has a veritable plethora of cards associated. Okay just 3, but it might sound a little complicated. He can attack your opponents LP directly with Cherry Bomb, but needs the piglets card equipped to do so. He needs the Cherry Bomb 2 and 3 to fire 2 and 3 Cherry Bombs, dealing more damage with a greater number, but sacrificing a greater number of piglets. with a 3 card limit you can have 18 piglets for a max total of 3,600 damage (18/3 x 600) if you have Cherry Bomb 3 equipped Yumigami the Moon Goddess. She has a powerup but it works with other cards too and it's more relevant to Orochi so will be included with him instead: Next onto the elemental Gods. Each one has a powerup that gives it 500 extra attack. I was lazy so the artwork is exactly the same for the God and the powerup. All the powerups are equips: Finally we have the remaining two gods, Kabegami and Kasugami. Both are weak but have special abilities. Kabe can attack your opponent direct, and Kasu can halt attacks, but you need to pay LP to do so. Kasugami also has Mist warp to get out on the field quicker Next we have the other 'good guys' Firstly we have Ammy's sidekick Issun and his grandfather Ishaku. They were the 7th and 6th Celestial Envoy's respectively (meaning they both travelled with Amaterasu, Ishaku having done so 100 years prior to the game's start) which gives rise to a spell card designed to help get one of them out on the field, which is very useful if you have Amaterasu/Shiranui on the field given Issun/Ishaku's special abilities Next is Oki and Waka. Both are NPC's who you have to fight, though both are allies. Oki's sword 'Kutone''s ability comes from Oki's in-game desire to slaughter as many demons as possible to make his blade glow silver Next we have Nagi, Susano and Kushi. Nagi is a legendary warrior who helped Amaterasu slay Orochi 100 years before the start of the game. Susano is his descendent and Kushi is the village Saki brewer for whom Susano harbours a secret affection. Susano and Nagi's ability come from them putting on brave faces but being cowards in truth (though they both come through in the end) Finally we have Shiranui. Shiranui means White Wolf. Non-believing Humans cannot see the celestial markings on Amaterasu, so when she walked about Kamiki village 100 years ago she was given this name. People believed her to be a servant of Orochi so feared her. In a certain part of the game, you meet with your past self which os where the Spirit Gate card comes into play. For various reasons your power has dropped since then, so Shiranui is more powerful than Amaterasu (they are the same being just with a different name). Her ability stems from a sacrifice she makes at a certain part of the game Next come the villains of the game Firstly we have the Spider Queen who's the first true boss you encounter Next there is Crimson Helm who is said to be born from the blood of Orochi when Nagi and Shiranui slew him 100 years ago. His powerup's name stems from that legend Next we have Blight who is invincible, so you have to find a way to get the sword 'Goldnail' away from him so you can attack it. This gives light to his powerup. He's either immune to your attacks or attacking you Next there's Ninetails. You encounter her before you actually fight her. I considered giving her an ability but decided not to Finally we have the almighty Orochi. There's a massive chunk of text on his card so I'll copy it so it can be read. His first powerup is the card that can go with Yurigami, the full moon. This is given light by the fact a festivle happens in Kamiki village and this is when Orochi chooses a sacrifice to eat. He chooses Kushi, which is why her card is removed to play him. His second powerup is his barrier. You are unable to attack the beast when you first engage him and have to find a way around this, which is where the sake comes in and why it is also removed 'Orochi can only be special summoned by removing Kushi and 8 purification sake from the game. Night of the Full Moon is automatically brought into play as a field spell. 3 monsters with a total of 4000 attack or more must be sacrificed from the field. Ororchi can only remain on the field so long as Night of the Full Moon is active. When all 8 heads are alive Orochi can attack once with a max of three heads. When 5 heads remain Orochi can attack twice with any combo of heads (e.g once with three, once with remaining two). When 3 heads remain Orochi can attack a max of 3 times with any combo of heads (e.g one attack with three heads). Each head has 1000/1000 and must be destroyed individually. Orochi takes up all 5 monster spaces and 3 of the trap&spell spaces even if only 1 head remains'
Lewk
Don't like the repetitive overuse of the same artwork. But still, pretty cool.
OrganicPsycho
Don't like the repetitive overuse of the same artwork. But still, pretty cool.
Thank you ^^ I admit I might have been a little lazy with the artwork. However, I did the spells last and some of the artwork was very specific such as Blight's Sword so I had to settle for what I could get
