FTW (For The Wynn)
Alright, I know that this will be compared to Orichalcos, but whatever. Your Spell & Trap Card Zones are also treated as Monster Card Zones. Monsters in your Spell & Trap Card Zones cannot be attacked unless your Monster Card Zones are unused. You must pay 500 Life Points during each of your Standby Phases. If not, this card is destroyed. When this card is destroyed, all cards in your Spell & Trap Card Zones are destroyed. Neither player can activate more than 1 Spell Card during their turn. As long as this card is on the field, both players are only permitted up to 2 Special Summons per turn.
I dunno if I balanced it alright or not...I tried to, but maybe I made it UP'd now...we shall see though. Blake
"As long as this card is on the field, both players are only permitted up to 2 Special Summons per turn."should be "Neither player can Special Summon more than two times per turn." No other text needed, there. (OCG taken from Summon Limit) Overall, I think it's UP'd. Sure, you get more monsters, but the Summon Limit is a pain that really kills the card's uses. FTW (For The Wynn)
I wanted to avoid the OTK that could result from such a card. Also, I wasn't sure about OCG there. I'm fairly rusty. Thanks Black ^^ I'll see if there's something else I could do instead of a summon limit.
Blake
No, I know WHY you did it... I just don't know if there is a true way to limit it @_@ Of course ^^
FTW (For The Wynn)
Technically, there should be...maybe instead of a limit on the monsters, maybe I could limit Spell/Trap usage instead. Hmm...Alright, I updated with a new effect. Hopefully this will balance it out but OCG might be a little off on that last sentence...
Blake
... Well, now Black Knight Dark, potentially, loves this xD IDK what all to do, though. That's all I can think of >_< Sorry... Maybe remove the LP, and NOT limit the Opponent as well? Then you can up the 1 Spell to 2 or 3?
FTW (For The Wynn)
I shall give it consideration. I'll probably keep the LP cost, but the limiting of the opponent might be a bit much. Thanks ^^

-SJ-
2 words, BALANCED ORICHALCOS. I saw that the main effect of this card is not even the protection effect, it is the spell holding effect. Even though it is simple, it is nice. But do not copy Orichalcos and higher that maintence cost. 500/turn for 10 monster zones ?
FTW (For The Wynn)
No, I didn't copy Orichalcos. I copied a part of Orichalcos and, as you said, made it balanced. I wasn't going for originality here. No, the 500 is only for the use of the card per turn, like any other cost. It's a minimal drain at best and it helps to keep it balanced. Mystical Space Typhoon could easily destroy this as well. It isn't too spell-holding. Just play MST first or even Dust Tornado. However, I did have Royal Decree in mind when making this for a partial lockdown deck.
