zeldaduderox
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Book of Moon? Limited? 1? 1 lonesome copy in my deck? Konami, why.... WHY???? Yes I understand, It's the all in one synchro stopper, effect blocker, attack staller, defense changing, effect breaking, atk 0ing card! But it was a staple in nearly every deck and it was purely awesome. OK, I could go with two, give it a friend, semi-limit it... BUT MAKE IT LIMITED! Fml Konami... fml.... Cold Wave? BANNED??? I already have three trap stunz in mai deck, what am I supposed to do now? Cold Wave+Boggy+Pashuul+epic Hyunlei for backfield destruction? I mean Trap stun will help, but, people can still book (but I guess that's unlikely considering it's LIMITED.... Now....), They can still E con, they can solemn judgment to the trap stun, etc... With Cold Wave All those nasty spell cards would go away, just for your turn and the next... Guess Trap Stun is now colder wave... Honest to 1? Honestly... (No pun intended (OK a slight pun intended)) I <3'd honest.... now it's at a lonely single copy...:*( Why would they limit Kalut? And the majority of players in Japan use Blackwings anyway so I do not understand Konami's logic whatsoever there.... Bye bye Goyo : *( I knew the day had to come!! It's been a fun ride... Don't forget to write!!! And that's mai ranting for naow.

Guest CDDRodrigo
^@the goyo.... And what makes you say that, sir? He's not overpowered in my eyes. Ghost Knight of Jackal has the exact same effect as Goyo, and nobody ever talked about it. Goyo was only utterly broken when Rescue Cat was around. Goyo was only utterly broken when Rescue Cat was around. Ghost Knight of Jackal is a level 5 monster with 1700 ATK. Even if it kills something, it's nowhere near as deadly as Goyo, which is a level six generic Synchro with 2800 ATK. That 2800 ATK is huge. Most monsters can't easily crush that in battle, and if they go to defensive, Goyo will just keep stealing monsters, probably using those monsters to attack the following turn, or using their effects, or Synching with them. Other monster stealers tend to have about 2400 ATK but Brain Crusher is level 7, and Red Eyes Zombie Dragon only works on Zombies.
Limited Edition KING
Oh quit complaining, just be thankful Konami didn't ban Book of Moon. "Why would they limit Kalut? And the majority of players in Japan use Blackwings anyway so I do not understand Konami's logic whatsoever there...." I do not understand your logic here whatsoever.Did you make a mistake in not adding the players don't use Blackwings? Or do you actually mean that a majority of them play Blackwings? If it's the latter then you'd understand why Konami would limit Kalut. Kalut is a great card in Blackwings so I can understand why it had to be hit. Stealing monsters is always nice, but that doesn't break the card.

evilfusion
But I still think Goyo is not banworthy. Stealing monsters is always nice, but that doesn't break the card. That's correct. Stealing monsters isn't what breaks Goyo, otherwise Brain Crusher would be broken, and that card sucks. The problem is it's a level six generic Synchro with 2800 ATK. Being a generic Synchro means ANY deck that can make a combination of six with a Tuner monster and non-tuners can bring it out. Level six is very easy to produce, up there with level 8. Lastly, it has 2800 ATK, more than any other monster in its level without a severe restriction (Infernal Incinerator) and more than even the higher level monsters. Being a Synchro means it comes from the Extra deck. You don't even have to DRAW Goyo, it's always available if you have the Synchro material. 2800 ATK is where it splits badly from Ghost Knight. 2800 can kill almost any monster in battle without extra modifiers, whereas Jackal's 1700 needs ATK modifiers to get anything good. Change of Heart and Brain Control disagree with you....Goyo is at the same level of those 2 cards...
