The people there are pretty good, there are no especially bad players, but few especially good ones either. [spoiler=My Deck] 3 Stealth Bird 3 Solar Flare 3 Lava Golem 2 Battle Fader 2 Des Koala 1 Spirit Reaper 1 Marshmallon 1 Arcana Fool 1 Morphing Jar 3 Toll 3 Chain Energy 3 Misfortune (would be Dualities) 2 Wave-Motion (need 3) 1 Swords 1 Level Limit 3 Just Desserts 3 Nightmare Wheel 2 Cylinder 1 Ceasefire 1 Mirror Force[/spoiler] Round 1 (Macro Monarch Stuff) Game 1 - Oh dear, bad match up. Still, the guy isn't too good, and I manage to get Stealth Bird, Wave Motion for 2000 and A desserts and ceasefire to kill him off fairly quickly. Game 2 - I side in pullings, but to no avail as he gold cards trunade, activates it, gets me on 450 then tops caius next turn to remove itself for game. Game 3 - I don't remember this very clearly, but he gold sarcs trunade, but doesn't activate it because I only have 2 Chain Energy, I manage to get game the nest turn with desserts. He shows me cold wave and trunade in hand... 1-0 Round 2 (Shutendoji Monarchs) Game 1 - He summons monarch after monarch, and I can do nothing to stop him. Game 2 - He nukes with black rose when he's on like 5000, I have solar flare for 2000 then get game a bit later. Game 3 - He summons black rose again, and has game on the field when I activate double desserts for 4000. He rages. 2-0 Round 3 (Sixtards) Game 1 - I burn him for 2500 with Chain Energy, but then he summons Brionac and keeps attacking, and I'm forced to pay for Chain Energy. Game 2 - He doesn't manage to get the big plays up, and I fader to save myself and get game next turn. I'm pleased. Game 3 - He summons a nuking black rose, I set MJar, but he has smoke signal and Grandamaster. He searches hand, summons, summons GM, pops hand to pop my jar, putting me on 2600. Next turn he summons Maxx C and everyone laughs. 2-1 Round 4 (Debris) Game 1 - He Stardusts his own TT, summons black rose the same turn, nukes, reborns his turbo warrior and I scoop. Game 2 - I crow his reborned Quickdraw early game, I starlight his Black Rose and then proceed to double desserts for game. Game 3 - He has no chance to summon Black Rose and I burn him fairly fast. 3-1 Round 5 (Blackwings) Game 1 - One of my best matchups, I burn him fairly fast with Chain Energy, Just Desserts. Game 2 - He keeps attacking with Bora over my arcana fool, he then summons armed wing with double Kalut and attacks for game. Game 3 - His shura attacks a koala for 2000, and then I have double chain energy and toll with him on 400. I top 16 with 4-1 Top 16 (X-Sabers) Game 1 - He warnings my stealth bird, he shouldn't have done that because I can beat him even after he summons Hyunlei. I don't quite remember how, but it involved Lava Golem. Game 2 - Something similar to the first game, except without the warning. Top 8 (Anti-Meta) Game 1 - Yay, my best matchup! I get double desserts and double misfortune with Lava Golem and I win fairly easily. Game 2 - He summons brionac and I'm unable to do anything. Game 3 - I finally get him on 500 with Chain Energy and Toll on the field, and he hangs on for 2 turns before I top Wave-Motion. Top 4 (Hopeless) Game 1 - He nukes with Black Rose then summons about 4 big dragons for game. Game 2 - He has prime material and not even 2 lava golems can stop REDMD. I win 3 packs of HA03 because my locals has awful prizes, and pull nothing good, but still a fun tournament. Sorry for my terrible grammar, but this takes ages to type otherwise.
