evilfusion
Wow, that's an awesome effect. Immunity to destruction for ALL your cards?
Toffee.
This is kinda' like Emperor's Staff on DMG. ...Except isn't a trap, and doesn't let the opponent draw 1. Is the effect the exact same as the anime one, in Wc11?
evilfusion
Anime Tyrant Force only covered the burn, and it didn't require any Speed Counter removing.
Toffee.
Is Speed World 2 the same as it was in Wc10?
Anime Tyrant Force only covered the burn, and it didn't require any Speed Counter removing.
Yea, that would explain a lot. Thats why Angel Baton costs like 8 Speed Counters to activate.
evilfusion
Unless WC11 changed a lot, Angel Baton was 4 Speed Counters, whereas the Anime just required you to HAVE 2. Jean activate Tyrant Force after using Speed World 2's 10 counter effect, so I doubt it was too strict, either.

The ReBeL
protects cards in hand as well.
evilfusion
"cards you control" usually just refers to your field.

evilfusion
Then I must be forgetting Jean's anime move. I thought he removed 10 counters to (fail to) nuke one of Yusei's combo pieces, then used Tyrant Force as his backup. If it's vice versa, then it makes less sense due to Draco-equiste's burn deflection effect.

Jean's turn (Yusei's SPC: 0; Jean's SPC: 10) Yusei activates "Summon Tax". Jean activates "Speed Spell - Tyrant Force" and then activates "Speed World 2's effect, removing 10 Speed Counters to destroy 1 card on the field. Speed World 2 is negated by "Dragon Knight Draco-Equiste", who uses "Stardust Dragon's" negating effect through its own effect. Jean summons "Hypnocorn". "Summon Tax's" effect activates (Jean's LP: 1000 > 300). Jean activates "Hypnocorn's" effect, destroying Yusei's face-down "Reflect Barrier"; "Speed Spell - Tyrant Force" deals 300 damage to Yusei (Yusei's LP: 900 > 600). Jean activates "Chain Whirlwind", destroying Yusei's remaining 2 Trap cards, "Summon Tax" and "Scrap-Iron Scarecrow". "Speed Spell - Tyrant Force's" effect activates (Yusei's LP: 600 > 300). Jean attacks "Rapid Warrior" with "Hypnocorn", but Yusei discards "Stronghold Guardian" and increases "Rapid Warrior's" DEF by 1500 ("Rapid Warrior's" DEF: 200 > 1700). (Jean's LP: 300 > 0). Yusei wins.
The card that Jean intended to remove with Speed World 2 effect was effectively Dracoesquite...But its own effect negated the Destruction... >_<
evilfusion
Okay, then it was a slip of the memory. Then Jean was actually quite clever with his intended move. If it weren't for Draco-equiste's effect, Jean would have neutered all of Yusei's S/Ts, destroyed his best monster, and dealt the needed 900 damage for game.
