Psychology Set

Lord Ursus

Recommended Posts

I am truly fascinated by Psychology, and here I'll try to pool out my knowledge of it in (I hope) well made cards.

This will be the set used by the main protagonist in a fan fiction I'm planning, but I'm not sure when it will be released.

The template was made by ¤ßϯ¤.'

Rank 3
LIGHT
Spellcaster / Exceed / Effect
ATK 2300 / DEF 1800
2 Level 3 monsters
Once per turn, you can look at a face-down card your opponent controls. You can reveal a card in your hand of the same Card Type (Monster, Spell or Trap) to inflict 1000 damage to your opponent. You can remove an Exceed Material Monster from this card to look at the top 3 cards of your opponent's Deck.

As Exceed monsters are due to be released in the TCG, yes, they are realistic. (Don't know about cars, though)

You are wrong, but no harm done.

I believe he means overly powerful cards intended to be used in fan-fictions are not really considered 'realistic'.

This card isn't really balanced at all, his first effect is extremely broken and easy to abuse, especially if you got 2 or more of him on the field at once. Seeing all your opponents cards AND inflicting damage to them for it? A LOT of it at that. Not to mention if you combined him with a card like Cursed Fig and locked some cards face down on your opponents field, you could easily win the duel in a matter of turns with two of them. If you pulled three, you could win the duel in two turns 90% of the time.

He just isn't balanced, as cool as he is. His effect does need to be dropped to 400 damage, and needs to target the top card on you opponents decks, rather then a face down(It is to easy to abuse targeting face-down cards on the field, sense you know if they are monster or spell/trap already) And, if you can't show a card of the same type, you should take 400 damage.

Finally, someone else who has heard of Sigmund Freud !! The card is good as it delves into the mind (deck) of the Opponent and it is a Spell Trap revealer. I would decrease the damage to 600 or so. the pic is nice, the effect is good while representing Freud's work and the template is good. 10/10 really nice card + rep. Also a suggestion for the rest of the set, maybe making a Ego monster and a Super Ego monster to use as exceed materials with effects like "When this card is Summoned you can reveal your hand to add 1 Exceed monster from your deck to your hand. You cannot attack the turn this card is Summoned." If you ever need a partner for this set, just PM me and I will help. that is if you need it.

Ah, I see.

I have replaced the "reveal" part with "discard" as to make it less broken, but I have not uploaded that version here yet. :P

I'll concider it, Endless Nightmares. Thank you for the rep!

The Ego thing is something I really could use for a card or two.
