Wahrheit
Without a doubt the greatest thing ever invented on the internet. Not only am I bypassing my school's network proxy, I'm doing it securely and they can't see my traffic. OH JOLLY DAY

Wahrheit
More like WALLSHAKING, really. If you guys haven't tried this, you should. You'll need some server to SSH to though... and I dunno how skilled y'all are with PuTTY.

Dark
...congrats? The best I've ever done was use Control Panel to unblock YouTube as a website so that my science teachers could view videos that pertained to class. And I taught people how to use proxies, and was extremely angry that they were using this newfound knowledge to go on... Facebook.
Wahrheit
SSH tunneling is like the Limit Over Accel Synchro of proxies. You take your traffic and route it towards an external server, which bears the load your normal server would. It's magic.

Dark
So it is kind of like using a personal proxy with the added benefit of the school not being able to see your traffic? Wait, doesn't a normal proxy do the same thing? I'm not the most experienced when it comes to computers and extremely technical aspects of them, so excuse me for being slightly ignorant and in the dark about this topic.
