Story is most likely false, but it's worth commenting on the hypotetical closure of the site: I really don't see the big deal with Facebook and social networking. I don't feel the need to know what everyone is doing every minute of every day. I don't need to know the everchanging relationship status of someone I haven't seen for ages. I really just don't. I'm not saying 'Facebook is a virus to the planet the creator must burn' but I really struggle to comprehend the 'OMG I'll have nowhere to keep a list of all my friends or comment on people's status anymore' type.
