-DG-
I've used that BG!! Anyway, he's oversharpened. Tone it down a bi. The C4D/fractal/explosion, with that blending, makes it look a bit LQ The text is okay, but I'm not feeling it.

Icy
I promised you I would so... Also, I would seriously consider porting this over to Photoshop. Then doing the following: New Layer > Image > Apply Image, name this layer "Background Depth" > New Layer > Image Apply Image, name this layer "Focal depth" Select the Background Depth Layer. Blur it twice then add a masking sublayer to it and brush over with a pureblack brush at 30% opacity across the upper greenline area within the picture shown. Make sure its all in one stroke. Then go over with a brush at 10% opacity across the lower part of the greenlined area. Cut out the focals lines. Layer should stay at 100% normal. Select the Focal Depth Layer. Blur it once and apply a masking sublayer to it. Then go for a pure black swatch and brush over all the shaded areas. Set the layer to about 35% opacity normal. Be sure to be as accurate as possible and use a soft brush for everything, so you can just go back later with another soft brush and restore anything to its natural state. Restore/adjust the effects added as needed.
