for Christ's sake give the poor kid a card - hell give him a medal of honor! - Isn't this one of our most rare/expensive cards in existence? This is literally the Hope Diamond of Yugioh.

No...

It's [size="4"][b]THE[/b][/size] most rare and expensive Yu-Gi-Oh! card that exists. Only 2 copies in the world, and Tyler sold one (I heard a rumor saying that it went for $1000000 USD... I don't doubt that).

Lets just put aside the fact that Tyler only really got the ability to make the artwork for the card, then the official card artists used Tyler's drawing as the concept for this card, and then printed it as such.
Meaning that Tyler had no real hand in the card's effect.
