evilfusion Posted March 7, 2011 Report Share Posted March 7, 2011 While I dont deny Stardust has a problem, it's attempt at being balanced is to remove itself from the field (temporarily) for its effect. What I think is Stardust's issue is its Summoning Conditions. I honestly think it shouldn't have been generic. But Yusei uses weird Tuners/non-Tuners, so generic it was, not accounting for the whole "first generation of Synchros" thing. Stardust definitely changed the game, but most people just run different forms of removal to bypass Stardust and some cards become "good" based on "it gets around Stardust". One card shouldn't have so drastically affected the game. However, I dont see it getting banned or even limited. I don't see it quite as broken as others do. Powerful, definitely. Incredibly annoying, yes. Starlight Road's issue is it Summons Stardust, but Stardust itself isn't what makes Road broken. Complicated things there. [/quote] But the OCG is the only region affected by the priority change. And only Japan is considered the "OCG", everywhere else is the TCG. Also, a lot of cards aren't affected so strongly by the priority change that the entire meta will be revamped. Only Ignition effects matter.
