I think when you first said "this card", you could switch all other mentions of "this card" (in the same sentence) with "it"

You got it right in the second sentence though.

[i'm just pointing that out though, since I imagine it would be pretty hard to redo that awesome half-paint thing ^^]

One question though. It says you can pay 500 LP to treat it as a Normal Spell until the end of the turn, but you can only pay the 500 while it's in your hand. So does that mean I could pay the 500, Set it in a S/T zone, and just let it crystallize there? (Crystallize maybe isn't the best word, but I mean, would it become useless?)

And, when it says it's treated as a Spell Card, would that be like a monster holding up a billboard that says "Spell Card" in sharpie, or does it directly give it properties as a Spell.

It says it's treated as a Spell, but it also says you can activate it normally. That seems unnecessary to me. (or maybe it isn't, I'm just throwing my ideas out there)

Could you possibly state it something like "While this card is a Spell Card, it's effect becomes(is):"

Or something along those lines. Or maybe you meant it to be that way, idk.

(Don't you just love how I always say I could be wrong at the end of my suggestions, probably not really necessary, eh? ^^)

Also, I noticed the effect is a little constraining. It says it's treated as a Spell until the end of the turn, so you can't change it back. You've got to make a firm decision as to what you'll need for the turn. Promotes strategy ^^

Shaco

its simple enough to understand.

'One question though. It says you can pay 500 LP to treat it as a Normal Spell until the end of the turn, but you can only pay the 500 while it's in your hand. Check the card Shaco, it says 'While this card is in your hand'

That should be enough for even a simpleton to understand, no you cannot set and pay 500

as the reveal and payment is a tied together effect, its exactly like saying 'remove 1 DARK monster and 1 LIGHT monster from your graveyard from play'

Its the same effect.

now...

'And, when it says it's treated as a Spell Card, would that be like a monster holding up a billboard that says "Spell Card" in sharpie, or does it directly give it properties as a Spell.'

It gives it properties of a spell

have you not seen Dark necrofear???

'it is treated as an equip magic card', Its the same meaning effect as cards like D-necro.

Again, thats common sense lol

'It says it's treated as a Spell, but it also says you can activate it normally'

how would you word it lol 'if you activate this card you must select and activate 1 ...'

that was a possible way to word it, but 2 activates in a short sentence is a nono

when thinking of the effect its best to state how you would activate it, otherwise it causes confusion, thus, by saying 'normally' you instantly know to activate it as if it was a real Spell Card.

'Could you possibly state it something like "While this card is a Spell Card, it's effect becomes(is):"'

Since it has a choice effect i could not word it like that, i mean, it looks silly

example

While this card is a Spell Card, it's effect becomes

- Destroy 1 face-up Spell Card on the field.

- Draw 1 card

The way you worded it gives it both effects, when the purpose is for 1 of 2.

'Also, I noticed the effect is a little constraining. It says it's treated as a Spell until the end of the turn, so you can't change it back.'

If you play it as a spell you cant change it back, as your activating it as if it was a spell, thats the entire purpose of the card, to give it a dual mode. 2 Card types in one.

If you revealed and payed but didnt activate it, common sense would indicate it returns back to a monster in your hand, due to the 'end of the turn'.

'You've got to make a firm decision as to what you'll need for the turn. Promotes strategy '

Yes thats the point to the card, and basically all Yu-Gi-Oh cards...

No offence Shaco but out of all those points, none are really good that you gave me.

I would also like to add, God Kaze checked through the effect himself and found no problems with it.

hehehehe

may i ask?

how to put the image of my card to a topic?

Well if you go to tinypic.com and upload it' date=' it will produce some codes, copy the code with [img'] at the beginning and end and paste it into your thread, then your card appears ^_^

cool :P I like old version better :P

Tyra the old card had bad OCG lol but thanx ^_^

"cannot set and pay 500"?

no-no, I meant that you said once you revealed it and paid the 500 it basically became a Spell. So I was wondering if you could set it like you would a normal Spell Card. That's all.

Ya know, come to think of it, I can't think of any actual yugioh cards that could be considered Billboard monsters.

Hmmm, but I do know what I'm talking about... perhaps I should make some billboard monsters.

HA, I've already got the name down.

how would you word it lol 'if you activate this card you must select and activate 1 ...'

that was a possible way to word it, but 2 activates in a short sentence is a nono

when thinking of the effect its best to state how you would activate it, otherwise it causes confusion, thus, by saying 'normally' you instantly know to activate it as if it was a real Spell Card.

Yeah, I see what you mean.

Since it has a choice effect i could not word it like that, i mean, it looks silly

- Destroy 1 face-up Spell Card on the field.

Ah, I was getting the wording from some cards I had made in the past, but none of mine ever had a choice of 2 effects to activate. Hmmm, how would I word that...

When you activate this card as a Spell Card, select and activate one of these (or "the following", I'm not sure which I'd use) effects:

- Destroy 1 face-up Spell Card on the field.

- Draw 1 card

Eh, doesn't really sound as good, I suppose.

I was just pointing that out to lead into what I said about the "promotes strategy" thing.

Yes thats the point to the card, and basically all Yu-Gi-Oh cards...

I suppose you're right ^^

No offence Shaco but out of all those points, none are really good that you gave me.

None taken.

I would also like to add, God Kaze checked through the effect himself and found no problems with it.

Hmmm, God Kaze is pretty awesome, I'll give you that.

No problem, I know you're nice.

Perhaps I may have been a little, sorry about that.

You're generally a nice person, so I didn't take the "simpleton" thing that personally ^^ Don't worry about it.
