evilfusion
Wow, that's just plain conditional. I'd rather run Bubbleman itself.
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Wouldn't Trio let you draw 3 cards, though?
Yes, but you need an empty field and no cards in hand. Even Infernities wouldn't bother.
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
I meant as an argument as to how it's better than Bubbleman. Bubbleman has the same requirements, but only lets you drew 2.
evilfusion
But Bubbleman is a monster, can still be used when you're not topdecking, and most of all, doesn't rely on your opponent's field.
DARKPLANT RISING
One of those hilarious cards.
Shizuku Oikawa
I can imagine the most dummest play in where the opponent manages to play 5 monsters, 5 Equip/Continuous Spells/Traps with a face-up Field Spell. So this can be a +10 if it was possible? Diamond Dude can probably make this useful.
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
No, it couldn't. Its effect is tied into the condition. It doesn't say to activate it you must have no cards in your hand or on the field. Its effect is "if you have no cards in your hand or on the field". If you activate the card while having other cards, it just won't have any effect.

Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
I don't believe you can activate a card without the intention of having an effect, so you could activate this card, but then have a card on the field due to some random effect your opponent activates, then it would resolve without an effect because you have a card. It's a double-whammy. Can't use its effect with cards on the field, and can't activate it if you have cards. You would need to have no cards during your Standby Phase somehow. evilfusion
I would say "no", you can't activate this if it's clear it'll have no effect. I just realized it says draw 1 per faceup "card", not "monster".
I don't believe you can activate a card without the intention of having an effect, so you could activate this card, but then have a card on the field due to some random effect your opponent activates, then it would resolve without an effect because you have a card. Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Okay? I don't see why that matters. That really doesn't change anything that I was saying, which is why I didn't say anything about it when he mentioned it. I was talking about activating on the Standby due to Diamond Dude's effect. evilfusion
Diamond Dude doesn't activate it during the Standby. Diamond Dude lets you activate it during the Main Phase.

evilfusion
It's also not mandatory. This card is a topdeck card and worthless otherwise.
