Lore:
When a Spell Card is activated, destroy it and gain 400 Life Points.

(NOTE: It only destroys, its does not negate)

Lore:
When a Spell Card is activated, destroy it. Both players then gain 600 Life Points.

Ya, 400 isn't that much, I was thinking 800 first, but that could be too good for burn Decks with Bad Reaction to Simochi. Life Point gain is only really an extra for having a beatstick that stops cont. spell cards.

I agree, it doesn't really fit the plant-type genre. It is more of Geartown or Reactor monster. They mainly have trigger effects and are more burn orientated tho and I thought it would be good to give plant-types more lv4 beatstick options while sorta mixing with plant-type control.

Botanical Lion and Giant Cephalotus are still better options for plant beatsticks :/

I say try to find a machine pic that fits the name and change this guy up to that. Then maybe lower the attack some, since it can be an easy Gadjilitron.

Also, Life Points aren't nearly as important a factor to winning now as they used to be. As long as you have 100 Life Points, reducing your opponent to 0 is really all that matters.

I know, if it weren't for effects like Bad Reaction to Simochi, I'd up it to 800 just as a perk, but with BRTS you could use burn spell cards and get an extra 800 damage added on each time.

As far as pure beatsticks go, Botanical Lion is definitely better, not a fan of Giant Cephalotus tho. I decided to make it plant before I got the pic, I was thinking initially a naturia-type control. Do you think it would be useful with 800 gain since there are cards out there that benefit from having over 8000 Life Points like Ancient Leaf.

Wait, read Simochi again. It only works when your OPPONENT would gain Life Points. This is in no way is a Simochi tech.

And Ancient Leaf is not used because it's inconsistent. Even if you gain Life Points, you need to draw it before your opponent lowers your LP back down. Pretty much the same for all similar cards.

Forgot it was only your opponent,
I might change it to just make it a Simochi tech and up the gain. And ya, leaf isn't very reliable, the points gain was only really meant as a secondary effect.
