evilfusion
Dark Bribe isn't for everyone, but I remember a time when this was seemingly used by everyone. There are occasions when using Dark Bribe is only a temporary solution. I'll probably never forget the time I used Storm, they used Bribe, and I drew Trunade, ensuring my OTK. But I've been on the receiving end of Bribe where I use a crucial card to my strategy, either for the duel or my turn, and they use Bribe, completely ruining my turn's effectiveness/options. The draw I get is almost never enough to make up for the loss of the card I needed at that moment. Dark Bribe isn't horrible. It's just not the staple it used to be. darkwolf777
I use Dark Bribe. I always go in believing that what i'm negating is a bigger hit then whatever it is that they end up drawing next. I usually would take the versatility of this with its ability to negate Spells as well over using something like Seven Tools myself.

HaouJudai
Honestly? You have no idea about good Heroes
I'm not going to debate that - because I may not have any idea about good heroes. But I suspect the several years experience I do have from running the deck at regional and local events counts for something. Several hero decks at YCS Charlotte ran double bribe. You just have to have the limited protection it provides from the hate. My personal card of choice is royal decree. Most in the current meta feel this is a bad idea because of the loss of book of moon. I agree. Except we have a stockpile of quickplay cards in the hero game. -forbidden lance -gemini spark -mst -enemy controller -super polymerization -defusion A lot of duelists are afraid of super poly - it's viable now - at least at one and I like it ran at multiples - dark bribe disrupts your opponent's timing and strategy - that's huge when you are pushing for big plays with 26k+ shining and 25k+ zero and 1.9k alius. You need the ability to set up and push - a spell speed 3 like bribe messes people up in chains. when a card is negated it closes the window on that particular action - such as attacking - if you negate mirror force with bribe then it prevents a ss 2 like d prison - it even stops ss3's like negate attack because it closes the window - something that SS2 cards like trap stun can't do. 7 tools is a better choice for most decks - but not in a hero deck - we need more - why? because we gave up a lot more to get where we are - some mechanics are smarter/cheaper like synchro and they generate the resources they need - such as junk warrior pulling from the yard. With fusion you are going back to the very wise words of Brittney Spears: Three is a charm Two is not the same I don't see the harm So are you game? Instead of committing 1 junk warrior we are committing at least 3 cards - i need the most available protection for him for the least amount of cost possible - that puts me in the realm of dark bribe and forbidden lance or effect veiler/skill drain. The reason 7 tools is a better choice for most decks is they can OTK easier than we can with heroes. We can hurt them pretty badly but we need something more after we push hard to save all the money we invested in the current field advantage. Coffee Black
Stop trying to look cool. See YCS Charlotte Top 16 if you don't believe that this is good.
I bet around 3 months ago you would have said only noobs run Bribe. No offense or anything but I'm sure if Bribe was absolutely no where in the metagame you would lol at anyone calling it even decent. You really shouldn't be talking s***. Dark Bribe to me has always been a card for the the smart duelist. I think most people say "This is a -1 it sucks ass" and don't even think of how may times a card like this could save or win the game. Of course, this cards usefulness varies depending on meta and deck build but overall it's solid. I'd use one copy at max personally.
