The Dark One
So hai gais. I haven't been around here for a while. As you might expect, that also means I haven't been playing Yugioh for a while. So.... what's the meta like?
burnpsy
Apparently, rather diverse.

Manjoume Thunder
Assumig that you don't know anything about the top decks. There can never be too much information. Best decks: Gravekeepers Turn 1 Royal Tribute wins games. Recruiter, Descendant, Spy, Stele and other +1 cards net absurd amount of advantage while Necrovalley beefs your monsters and counters a lot of popular strategies Legendary Six Samurai hurr durr Gateway and start summoning. It's very easy to summon Legendary Shi En and back it with cards like Solemn Warning even on the first turn so the deck can grind wins even if it can't get Gateway Almost Best decks: X-Sabers Same as always Miracle Beat Gemini Beat + Miracle Fusion to summon A0 and most importantly the Shining T2 Dragunities Get the field spell ASAP (that's why you run 3x Ravine and 3x Terraforming). Use Dux > Phalanx > Vajrayana > Phalanx to summon Stardust and other LV8s (if you already have a stardust). OTK with Trident Dragion Fish OTK Uses Frogs to turtle and provide tribute fodder for Coel....longassname. Frog Monarchs Like the old ones + (Fishborg + Treeborn = Formula Synchron). Some people use Genex Cards. (Chaos) (Dopple) Plants The deck looks the similar to the old one but it is a lot more aggressive. Lonefire + revival can fetch almost any synchro including Shooting Star Dragon and the Colossal Fighter + Armory Arm OTK. Some decks run Dopplewarrior + Junk Warrior but I don't recommend it before the releases of Trishula and Hyper Librarian. The deck is losing popularity because of it's terrible GK match. Stun Promising new decks Fusion Gate Heroes Gemini Beat + Chain Material + Fusion Gate. If you summon Shining and Zero with Chain Material you can fuse them and keep the new Shining. Karakuri Machina (Psychic) Plants Uses long combos to summon a lot of Karakuri Synchros in one turn and get a +5 per turn. Sorry, but there are a lot of ways to do it and I cba to explain. Nordics Plays a lot like the old Plant decks and can summon some beefy synchros. Old decks that can still win games: Gladiator Beasts Blackwings Lightsworn Infernity (Machina) Gadgets What did I miss? EDIT: The best card (Pot of Duality) that is used @2-3 in almost every good deck costs ~100$.
Dr. Cakey
Heroes and Gemini win @ lief in OCG, if DMG is anything to go by. It lol's at Royal Tribute, and acts like BWs in that there are no solid ways to side against it.
