6500 yes, but if you decide to use the Red Nova SS effect, it's back to 5500 ATK.
Where at that point Red Nova would have even more than that.

and Red Nova has a starting attack of 5000 > >
I guess I could make it a 3000 attack but I didn't want to make his base ATK lower than Red Nova since its kind of like a Shooting Quazar- tier

And for the defense, yeah, I guess I could lower it, I just wanted to make its base stats higher than Red Nova's

well, that's the point > ^ >
since it's supposed to be a sort-of-Shooting Qwazar-tier which is higher than RND

but I guess I could lower its stats..
but for ATK I don't think I should go lower than 2500 and for defense, something like 3000.
How's that sound?

Keep base attack and defense the same, lower the gain.

This is my version of Limit Over Accel Synchro, much like Yusei's Shooting Quazar. But it's not accel so if it had a name it'd be something like Limit Over Double tuning Synchro..

but yes I agree, I guess I did make its starting attack too much.
I'll work on that, but other than being overpowered in the attack points department, what about as a whole?

Like I said, it's not the starting attack, it's the gain that's too much.

Also, lose the RND SS effect and change the RDA SS effect.

^Actually, Red Nova Dragon requires 2 Tuner monsters, known as Double Tuning. Go to Google and type it in.


@Gandorator, I'd make it 1500 ATK and 2000 DEF and call it good.

yeah, I meant the starting attack including the gain, which is 6500

..but if I lose the RND SS and change the RDA SS effect it'd just be a Red Nova.. x__x

I wanted it to relate to Shooting Quazar in a way D""x
if Shooting Quazar dies it SS's SSD, but since I didn't want to copy that effect I changed it and added some more stuff.

Anyways, I think I'll leave its original attack 3000 with a 3000 defense and lower the gain to 800 ATK, but other if I change anything other than that I think I would make it UP'd
since, as I said, I meant for it to be a SQD-tier dragon.

AND its summon isn't the easiest cause it requires 2 formula synchrons and 1 RDA
whereas SQD requires 1 formula synchron + 2 other Synchros

actually I'd say RHD is harder to summon than SQD, but that's just my opinion, not sure how playable that would be. x__x

Change attack gain to 500. With 800 it's still 5400 starting attack.

butbut Red Nova's is 5500 D""x>>
because of the 2 tuners + 1 for the RDA
how can I make a higher-tier dragon like RHD, especially if related to RND, weaker than RND itself..
since Quazar is stronger than SSD, it's only natural for this to be stronger than RND too..

Anyways, if I leave it like I said, 3000 atk 800 gain, would it be too OP'd?

And Yusei only has Stardust Dragon, Majestic Star Dragon, Melific Stardust Dragon, and Shooting Star Dragon.

aaaaand...since when does Yusei have Malefic Stardust? Only Paradox uses Malefics. Maybe you should watch the anime before making remarks about it, k?

I suggest making the gain 500 and the original ATK anywhere between 0 and 1000. (U choose DEF) Well put together Synchro-Swarm decks like Blackwing or Quickdraws can easily get 5 in the Graveyard. Making his ATK go from 1500 to 4000. Maybe you could add "this card cannot be destroyed by battle while it's ATK is less than 2000.
