So let's move to the card and the effect themselves

Personally I find 1800 atk a bit too weak for lv5, you might consider raising it higher

Overall the effect looks simple but rather effective in card discarding, though at the end you should also add an alternative, in case there's no cards in your hand to discard

I'll give this one an 8.4/10

I felt making the ATK 1800 balanced out it's effect a bit

Maybe. I guess I'm just too used to thinking Spell Canceler when I saw that, and we all know that isn't anywhere near the belief it's the "Jinzo for spell cards"

Not really, since face-up cards aren't too common unless your opponent mains Decree, plays Crystal Beasts or runs Chain Burn, all of which this wouldn't hurt too much. Besides, the no SS clause limits it well enough.
