TheComposer
Junior year is the stupidest. I hate to say this, but you'll miss freshman year. At first, it was pretty frightening for me. I was at a whole new school knowing no one there. I awkwardly tried making friends at orientation, many of whom I talked to did not become friends of mine. But just being yourself and being open to conversation, you'll find your friends. Plus, it's easy to do so in freshman year because you can talk about the same stuff with everyone: how they're adjusting to high school, where they went to for middle school, what lunches you have, etc. If you have adequate social skills, you'll be fine. But then there's the work. Sophomore year, you will most likely find yourself losing any motivation you've had in school before. A "sophomore slump" if you will. This is dangerous and something you need to get OUT of if possible. If not, your junior year will suck. Terribly. That is the case for me and I deeply regret developing my procrastination problem. By this time, you should feel comfortable socially, but stressed out in academics. Most seniors I've talked to say it is the best year. You're the top of the food chain, have classes more suited to who you are, and you can drive. Basically, freshman year isn't so bad, it just takes a little time to adjust. Junior year is the one you have to really give it your all in.
Far too late to warn me about that bro. I've already lost all motivation, and I don't see myself getting it back anytime soon. I'm president of my own friggin club and vice president of another, and that's STILL not enough to get me motivated.
CrystalCyae
You guys are scaring me. I dun wanna go to high school now.... Mainly because I'll only know 1....2....3 people. Plus I've never been there before, and with good reason. Never thought I would be going there. I am gonna get lost like there's no tomorrow. Anyway, the first day of freshman would be kinda scary, especially if you're in my position. Even though there is orientation day the year before, I don't make many friends in the space of 4-5 hours. So you get stuck with only a few other people you know from previous experience. In my case, you know none of the teachers, nor rules, and you don't know how things work. All I can say is my first couple of weeks of freshman will be different, to say the least.

WTFauKorean
nearing senior year ill say this. i wish i could go back to the times where drama was who stole the blue crayon or who got to be the red powerranger when "nap time" was a credited course back when all the teachers were cool and extra credit existed extensions for assignments existed freshman year took all that away from me and yeah we had our fun f***ed up moments but like i remember from the movie stand by me "i've never had friends and times like the ones i did in middle school after I graduated... heck does anyone ever?" yet a part of me tells me, been there done that, get on with your life. remember your past but dont hang onto it like a last hope. highschool is a inevitability, just make it a good 4 years cuz once you graduate from highschool... well you're pretty much f***ed
