Mecha Love
I'm starting to make a new Set based on Necromancers. The point of them is to Special Summon monsters from the Graveyard and use effects or/and attack. There are some exceptions. Please rate and comment! Will +rep for constructive criticism. [Necromancer Castle may need some work]
Lore: Once per turn, during your Standby Phase, increase the Level of this card by 1. After this effect activates, remove this card from play and select 1 monster in your Graveyard (excluding Synchro, Fusion, Ritual and Exceed monsters) whose Level is equal to, or less than the Level of this card. Special Summon the selected monster in face-up Atack Poition. This monster cannot be used as a Tribute or used as Synchro, Fusion or Exceed Material. During your End Phase, send the Special Summoned monster to the Graveyard and Special Summon this card. If the Special Summoned monster was removed from the Field, do not Special Summon this card during the End Phase. Lore: Select 1 monster on your opponents side of the Field. This card gains ATK and DEF equal to the selected monsters ATK and DEF. This card must attack the selected monster. When both cards are destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, remove from play the selected monster and Special Summon this card. It gains the effect(s), name, Level, ATK and DEF of the selected monster. The original effects of this card are negated. Lore: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by removing 1 monster in your Graveyard from play. This cards Level, ATK and DEF are equal to the Level, ATK and DEF of the removed monster. If this card destroys a monster remove it from play instead of sending it to the Graveayard. Once per turn, during your Stanby Phase you can remove this card to Special Summon 1 monster which has been removed from play and whose Level is equal to, or less than the Level of this card. During your Standby Phase you may Special Summon 1 Level 1 monster from your Graveyard. These monster cannot attack or activate their effect(s). During the End Phase, send the Special Summoned monsters to the Graveyard and remove this card from play.

Lore: Once per turn, select 1 random monster in either players Hand and send it to the Graveyard. If your opponent has a Trap Card in their Hand, your opponent gains 1000 Life Points. When a "Necromancer" monster Special Summons a monster from your Graveyard, during the End Phase, return the Special Summoned monster to the Deck and Special Summon the "Necromancer" monster used to Summon it. When a "Necromancer" activates its effect and is removed from play, you can Special Summon a monster from either players Graveyard. While this card is in play "Necromancer" monsters can activate their effects during your opponents Standby Phase. You must pay 500 Life Points every turn to keep this card in play. ~British Soul~
i like the idea behind this card, but what happens if the Special Summoned monster is used for a Synchro Summon or Fusion Summon, oe is tributed

~British Soul~
the fact that it doesn't say "ignore the summoning conditions" makes the card more balanced
Mecha Love
yeah. Mainly you are just trying to summon a monster for 1 turn who can use its effect/attack etc. Nothing too powerful tho y'know?
xnutralityx
how would giving it a few hundred or so DEF and increasing the level by 1 or 2 make it? i like the original effect but you would need about 2 or 3 lines of defense before it becomes usable. Beyond that id give it a solid 8/
Mecha Love
Problem is, it is practically never on the Fiel with the Field Spell I'm adding on in a few mins.
Joe G.
I think it is "after this effect activation" And on the spell on the bottom line opponent instead of opponents Good Cards 8/
xnutralityx
is this guna have a full archtype to it?

xnutralityx
can the field spell also activate the level up effect? in any case the field spell allows you to see the opponents hand. which some cards have a sole effect for and coming at a cost. this also removes a graveyard dependant decks ability to perform completely which might make it considered op to some people. IMO i think its fine beside my first point i give the field spell a good 7/
Mecha Love
No it doesn't allow you to see his/her hand. 1 RANDOM monster
xnutralityx
Soul reaper 9/10. Mecha Love
Well...... 1. They pick out the monsters. 2. If they have no monsters you can still get 1 from hand, or either players graveyard. And yeah. I could try fixing it.....
xnutralityx
sorry if I seem persistent on the effects but i really like where this is going and my friends and i like creating archtypes and actualling dueling with the proxy's lol
Blue- eyes white dragon777
I have a question abut Dark Necromancer. When it's removed from play then comes back it's still a level one, right? Then you make it a level two, special summon a level two, and remove dark necromancer from play. Then, next turn, you send the level two to the graveyard and bring back a level one dark necromancer and repeat the cycle again. You could add: After this effect activates, you may remove this card from play and select 1 monster in your Graveyard Its kinda confusing but you might want to try it.

xnutralityx
lookin good. still should make field spell select one random card and discard it rather than a monster.
Mecha Love
But that would do nothing. The point of necromancers is to summon monsters, not spells or traps.....
xnutralityx
But that would do nothing. The point of necromancers is to summon monsters, not spells or traps.....
yes but the problem still lands at how you would know which is a monster. they cant just hold up a randomamount of cards and "say" thier all monsters. Mecha Love
Well...... in a hand you can..... maybe take the bit about deck out?
xnutralityx
no you cant cause lets say they have 2 monster in hand but only show you one cause they know if they lose the other they will lose a opportunity to win the duel. this card forces the veiwing of the opponents hand every turn. Mecha Love
This is fair dueling. Not cheating thoeither way, it doesnt matter which monster, as long as it isin the grave
xnutralityx
ur not understanding the rule any card that does such a effect forces the player at the receiving end of the effect to show the other thier hand.
Mecha Love
Iv made it that if he/she has a trap in his/her hand then he/she gains 1000 LP. Bit like eye of truth.Bump
