I was solely talking about Trigger effects, but that's beside the point of the card. This is one of the cards that gives Black Valley it's edge. Carly on the show had been murdered by Sayer(Divine?) and to get her revenge she slowed down his ability to synchro and incorporated one of the best burn cards in the game - FL Fire. Future Visions is a mandatory effect - ignition effects cannot be activated. Summon a lonefire blossom/snipe hunter/prisma - and they go out of play - you cannot call priority to get their effect. Summon a Caius and target future visions and he will be removed from play and won't return. Future Visions slows down synchro summons, stops ignition effects and resets summoning conditions. It employs a game mechanic to move the monsters that cannot be chained to. It's a very good card and extremely annoying for anyone dealing with it.
