Alright, so I'm working on a set of Digiomon Cards. So far I've got a few Spell cards finished, Agumon Set is finished, Gabumon is WIP, and I am still considering what third set of monsters to do. Anyway, enjoy, feel free to rate. Sorry if it's bad...This is my first set.

Suggestions, Requests, ETC are all appreciated.

Digital isn't a type
hand isn't capatalized, but Tribute is.
Good OCG through what i saw when i skimmed.
Metalgreymon and Wargreymon pics are wrong. Those are Metal and Wargreymon "X"

7/10

That's sort of the point.

Ah, I suppose I will get around to correcting that at some point.

Thanks, and yes I'm aware they are both X, finding high-res and suitable pics is harder than it looks. (Though I'm most likely half-assing it.) Once I get done with the Gabumon set I'll have to revisit and correct some mistakes.

Again, thanks for the rating.

Have you ever tried Deviantart?

Mhm, but I am conscious of using independent artist's work. And If I ever do use their work I'll wait to get their okay. But I'll most likely make a few rounds there when I revisit the Gabu Set.

Plagiarism is srsbznz.

I don't really like Botamon and Agumon;s effects. With you being able to tribute them for an upgrade from you hand, deck or graveyard, Agumon and Botamon are more like spell cards then actually monsters. I mean you will never put them on the field for a whole turn when you can just instantly tribute for an upgraded version, and with Agumon's secondary effect (shuffle into deck when tributed) you will basically have free Graymon's throughout the duel if you have 3 Agumon's in your deck. And with all your high powered monsters summoning Agumon to the field when they are destroyed you might as well just have them summon a Graymon.

I do like what you did with the D-Counters for summoning the last monster though. But maybe you should remove the 1st and 2nd D-Counter effects from Metalgraymon or at least make them less painfull, with Metalgraymon inflicting battle dmg with DEF monsters and the removing 1 D-Counter for 500 life points in the same turn the match would end really fast.

I like the Effects of Digital World, but I think you should make it have a different Counter then D-Counters so as to not make Graymon, Metalgraymon, Wargraymon so OP cause they can stack up there own D-Counters without a Cap set on the card.

Wargraymon is pretty OP (considering the tv series it makes sense, but maybe not so much as a card).

Digivolution and Warp Digivolve could be a little confusing for someone who is not a fan of the series (eg. they may not know what a "Rookie" monster is or a "Champion"), so you may want to either clarify on the card or on the monsters themselves. Aside from that I think they are well made.

Primary Village, I'm not really sure why this is a Constant Spell Card when it has no effect that is prolonged or re-engaged at a later point. Maybe consider making it a Normal Spell Card, or give it an effect like "Once per turn you can Special Summon 1 "Fresh" Digital - Type monster from your Hand, Deck or Graveyard", but if you give it the suggested effect you might give it a kill switch (eg. Destroy this card at the end of your 5th turn after activation, or Once 5 monsters have been summoned by this cards effects, destroy this card)

I understand that these are just Pop Cards, so if I am being to serious about them then I'm sorry.

Those are just the things I felt could use a little tweeking. I like the idea behind them, and the base mechanics of the set so far. hope you continue the set.

I'll make sure to take all this into consideration when I revisit them, and also apply these concerns to the Gabumon set. A few notes though.

I had thought about this too, I am considering applying the D-Counter rule used with MetalGreymon to Agumon and thereafter.

Good point on MetalGreymon, I'll end up tweaking his effects a bit. Something like,

- Remove 1 D-Counter to destroy one Spell or Trap.

- Remove 1 D-counter to destroy 1 Monster.

Something like that.

I completely forgot to add Caps, that's my bad. I was going to have a max cap of 3 for each card.

I agree, that's why when I go back to balance Agumon and the other I will end up making it more difficult to upgrade the Cards. I'll also nerf Warp Digivolve. That way, the difficulty to get him on the field balances out his effects.

As for distinguishing the levels, just above the type of card, I had them all listed. BUT, i suppose I could always add it into it's type. Digital / Rookie / Effect That would make more sense?

I could edit the effects of Digivolution so that it Gives D-Counters or will just push them 1 rank up, or I could make Card-specific Warp Digivolves. Though right now, I'm thinking going off stars.

Primary Village is supposed to be a Quick play, that's an error on my part. But I will end up re-wording it and tweaking it quite a bit, I like your idea.

And no bother at all man, criticism is a good thing. I especially need it considering this is my first set of cards. (Actually, first cards period.) It's too bad the set is just a poor rip-off of a Spellcaster/Level deck. The idea was to have only a few monster cards that could get reused over and over and having only 1 card on the field at a time. That said I'm also trying to stay true to the series as well. (Which is why WarGreymon has piercing, Dramon Claws. Negate effect, Shield of Courage. And field destruction, Terra Force.)

Again, thanks.
