My opinion: This game is going to be changing drastically very soon. Whether its a good change or bad, I can't tell. Konami seems to be forcing things onto people, as opposed to letting the current meta slowly change at the players' pace. They're also making it harder for new people to come into the game with cards reaching ridiculous prices and less and less reprints of old cards, instead giving us new cards that at a first glance seem stupid and to a noob seem completely worthless. One thing that I would love to see in Photon Shockwave is more support of extremely undersupported (arche)types, such as more Sea Serpent and Insect support. YuGiOh! meta slowly change at the players' pace.The Meta changes when archtypes are added or theme cards are released (Chaos and Plants)... the Meta isn't even drastically affected by the Limits or Semi-Limits, only the ban list... and even then, nothing that completely drives a current deck has been banned in a while... They're also making it harder for new people to come into the game with cards reaching ridiculous prices (sad but true, s***s to be you (and me)) and less and less reprints of old cards, instead giving us new cards that at a first glance seem stupid and to a noob seem completely worthless. One thing that I would love to see in Photon Shockwave is more support of extremely undersupported (arche)types, such as more Sea Serpent and Insect support (fun Idea... but you can be expecting the LIGHT archtype and Dragon monsters... as that is what the 2 currently known Photon Archtype cards are... but who knows, maybe we'll get some other new archtypes and more Mainspring Support... and ofcorse exceed support... hopefully we'll still get fusions). If they leave it as is, "high tier" decks will always be used, and "low tier" decks won't get a second glance. I for one want Roids to get into the meta. Sadly, they forgot about the archtype. While that's true in some cases; the biggest topic I ever hear people jabroniing about is "I hate how these great cards are coming out as commons and promos, now any noob duelist can get them and mine are worthless". I want it known that I did headbutt them for being dumbasses lol, but you have to admit that Konami has been trying to really help the low budget duelists like us with putting big name cards out for us to get with no trouble. Mirror Force, Solemn Judgment, Solemn Warning, Pot of Duality, nearly all the Omni Heroes, several key X-Saber cards, many of the staple Syncro monsters, Gravekeeper's key cards, etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
